Very good collection. I have several things very similar to yours but in smaller duplicate amounts. If you ever have to part with some (heaven forbid) I would be interested - even though I know that the logistics would never happen. Fantastic collection, thanks for sharing. I hope you also have the'shelling' bug (finding on the hoof) as well. There is something in the actual hunt and collect thing that finds a place even though it doesn't yield high end shells. I caught what I thought was a frog outside. I’ve been taking good care of it, but to best take care of it I’ve been trying to ID him. That NC frog was actuallyyyyyy a toad! He looks similar to mine, and when contacted the Reptarium identified it as some kind of a southern toad. :)
Just here today. It had the most beautiful peony varieties I’ve ever seen. We had some peony plants growing at my childhood home and it brought so many good memories back.

Great video. One thing that's helped me is I heard a psychologist (therapist? It was a while ago aha) say that most people can get seven things done in a day. Limiting my daily to-do lists to seven things - even if they're simple, they're still a task! - has really made me acknowledge my boundaries and not overwork myself, as well as making me reflect on the things I HAVE done that day. Sounds arbitrary perhaps, but hey, if it works it works. <3
It would be nice to know the names of the varieties that you're documenting.
Wow those plants are so cool! One day I want to get some of my own but it'll probably be a bit tricky because I'm allergic to pollen and I frequently forget to take my medication for it haha

What's really awesome, is that due to just your two generators on what they find on patrol and what herbs need healing, plus just a d20 for decisions and a dice system for finding prey...i haven't gone past a page of cats in the entirety of this current clan i'm playing, and i've played it for an entire day. Not just that...but i have an interesting story omg!! My original leader; Oak, died due to sickness. The new leader after her; Boragestar, couldn't choose a deputy in time before he DIED and this upset most of the clan. The original Starclan cat that guides the cats into Starclan changed his name somehow from LeopardSPRING into LeopardSONG (Making me think from his later actions to be like a Siren) and has become quite the...for lack of a better term Biblically accurate angel, but is for whatever reason evil and somewhat bloodthirsty? Everyone who dies (a FAIRLY often thing that happens with this clan) is cut off from their living clanmates BY Leopardsong, and so far only one; an elderly she-cat named Waterhail, has been able to truly break through to the current medicine cat; Midge. The clan currently has 4 cats left: Midge the Medcat tom who is the last living relative closest to Waterhail. His former mate now enemy Kestrelsnap, her daughter who hates Midge (her birth father); Swiftstep. And the current leader; a loner that Kestral fell in love with named Ripple. Ripple refuses to make anyone his deputy, and worse yet; Starclan cats are suspecting Leopardsong had been making the cats in the clan go mad on purpose, and sent Ripple personally to get rid of them. Every Starclan cat who talks with or has any interaction with Leopardsong starts to act different; ether fading or becoming his mindless drones, Waterhail has been trying really hard to bring the clan back from his Soul hungry clutches, and in conjunction with only two others who have managed to resist; Oakstar and Whitewish, has told Midge to get rid of any kits that Kestrel and Ripple even attempt for due to them being sent as soulless husks meant to reap the living; this has resulted in him "Chasing kits out of the medicine den" every few moons, He's been bringing them to twoleg place where he hopes they will be cared for (He likes to head to the Dirtplace just after these "Chasing kits out" prompts), though he isn't aware of WHY they can't stay in the clan he still trusts his mother's word. And with Kestrel telling him that she's seen this cat of pure night starting to show himself and walk around camp; whispering...seeming nonsense? Midge is extremely on edge. But where i left off, the clan has been in a prey shortage due to lack of experienced warriors being able to gather enough prey...for 4 cats XD. Kestrel has been basically trying with Ripple so hard to continue her family, but due to het kits disappearances she asks Midge who simply says that there have been 4 rouges lurking around the camp and they must have been the ones to kit-nap. However one day she notices Midge sneaking out of camp with something mewling in his grasp, she sends her daughter; Swift, and her mate Ripple out to chase down Midge. They don't catch him outright, but they "Interpret the purpose of this object" and look inside a nearby twoleg nest to see a couple kits...that look like Ripples. Furious; Ripple storms back to camp and pins down Midge, accusing him of betrayal loudly and in the middle of camp, Kestrel is horrified as she trusted him; even if they couldn't be together long she still cared, and to hear about his 'betrayal'? Swift is basically Ripple's second in command at this rate and agrees with him that Midge is the most evil cat they've ever known, she never experienced the clan at it's peak; when nearly everyone was having maddening dreams, in fact she denies Starclan's existence right in front of him! disavowing Midge and claiming Ripple is her true father! Midge is now kept prisoner, given so little food he nearly starves to death; if not for his watchful mother visiting him and giving him scraps of mice that she's managed to lead into the makeshift prison that is the current apprentices den.
Oh God I feel you. First season was fox, fox, and more foxes! Second season lost a kit to starvation the king father was devastated. Yeah loner with kits joined and it's a single dad so king. My og leader cinderstar died to rouges, Embernoise her deputy lost his mate right before this to dogs, and the newly named Emberstar died to the same dog protecting his apprentice Eaglepaw. Now Mumblehaze(star) is taking over this ill luck clan with the former mate of Cinderstar, Flipshine the former kittypet. We will see where this goes.
I just got 3 plants from the plant store today. One is a dying fern that I'm hoping to rejuvenate and bring back! Her name is Emma... named after her scientific name emmeliana

I’m really excited for you,there’s not a better feeling then being productive and getting things done,especially when you have something on in the background….even if it results in getting entirely different things done. 😂 But hey it least your were distract by something you love If you like random generators or role playing or even text based games,I would highly recommend looking up *Choice of Games* They make a lot of text based games and as you shape your character over time it can effect their skills and if certain interactions will be successful or not,I don’t think most of the games would be safe for the pixel biologist gaming channel,but their a fun pass time (would highly recommend Choice of Magic,I wish more people knew about it),ofcourse this recommendation is for everyone (like seriously…please….I need more people to talk about this game with)
