  I always thought Carol was vile to Lauren, and she seems that way with all of her children’s partners. But particularly Lauren….. in general I think a lot of people were horrible to her, Mark was all she ever knew for 11 years and sometimes it just really affects you. Especially seeing as Mark really manipulated her and knew how to keep her around

  Always liked Alan but I would never watch this. Seeing him on screen as a narrator is so off putting.

  Breaks aren’t nearly as bad a channel 4. Channel four is now the absolute worst. Iplayer the best.
