  for what it is and its weight, it pulls quite good. I also have an MT09 which obviously pulls way harder but you can´t compare both bikes. The 4 cylinder is a joy to ride. If you have someone sitting in the back you can ride the bike very smooth which will be a comforting factor. The QS works fine for me if you know how to operate it correctly. Overall it is a heavy bike (and tall). So if you are smaller than 1,80m and not the strongest guy, it might be not the right bike for you.

  I have launch control on my 16 fz09 my question is are you full dumping the clutch on takeoff or riding it out a little to get it to launch like that as I don't seem to launch nearly that hard when quickly slipping the clutch in launch mode?

  I had the shiftpower unit on my FZ1 two bikes ago and it has qs, launch and pitlimit.....it was great. For SURE going to get it for my FZ8 wich is now flashed and getting arrow pipes taking out the dip at midrange. Should be fun! Oh and i LOVE the FZ8 beeing derived from the 4 valve R1 07-08 instead of the FZ1 5 valve wich was not linear power at all......
