can interludes be used to tell some sort of a narrative? I once kinda tried to make an unoffical album of a band that was made for an obscure tv series, it kinda worked since there were dialogues in-between songs that did act as a bridge. would it work for a concept album with a narrative flavor?

is there a different name for when it returns back to the original dynamic?? or is that what a crescendo is? i.e you are only emphasizing a passage or so.

many composers also write overtures so orchestras can play some of the music from an opera without any opera singers
