This is exactly what my b8 a4 sounds like. I’ve replaced spark plugs, coils, injectors, cam adjuster/spool valve. Tomorrow I’ll be replacing the cam bridge and hopefully you are right 🙏

@@jameshinged3002 No turns out that wasn’t the only problem. I had a crushed primary 02 sensor and a bad purge valve

First of all, I love this guy: no bs, no hit my like button, just set up the camera and watch me take it apart. Thank you! Now, as for Mercedes, WTF, you designed the sliding door to perfectly steal credit cards placed on it! Put my card there for just a second before approaching a drive thru, hit the brakes, and voila card is gone! Nice disappearing trick! Now, I gotta spend two frigging hours pulling the entire center console out? IF I have any of those torx wrenches (don't think so, will have to borrow my neighbor's). Yeah took this guy ten minutes, but the vid was edited while he got other tools and he obviously knows his way around cars. LOL, I'll be braking sht and losing sht and swearing the whole time!
lol. Not to worry. I was doing the same thing first time I took it apart, cussing and lightly pulling on things to figure out how it came apart. Because I couldn’t find any good videos. Glad to hear it’s going to help you get your CC back. 👍🏻
my joystick knob doesn’t work and i was quoted 700 bucks to get it fixed. the part is about 200. this should save me some money

Hi, do you have the HK factory audio system or is it the standard? Also did you need to run an AUX wire from the new unit to the AUX input in the armrest storage? Also does your unit have a slot for a sim card? Thanks for the video 👍🏻
I’ve got the HK system. This unit will ship with an external DA converter. There are a few options for integration into the factory system. One option is to use the aux integration in the centre console another is to use the external DA. I tried both, and ended up finding the audio slightly better with the external DA and the optical outputs. Yes. This RSNAV unit has a SIM card slot as well as a slot for a microSD as well for additional storage. 👍🏻
@@AlterdA4 Thanks for the quick answers! My car doesn't have the HK system, would I still need to run that AUX audio jack cable to the AUX input into the center armrest area? Basically what I have in my armrest storage is a priority Mercedes plug, in that plug there is an adapter plugged into that and there's 2 ends to that, an au AUX input and an old iphone/ipod connector. So I'm guessing I would need to run the AUX cable and plug it into that AUX plug in the storage area? If that's the case then I'd need to drill a small hole run the AUX cable into the storage area? Or is there another way of doing it with this external DA you mentioned?

@@lagunacorona this is my only set of AudioFrog speakers I’ve installed. It’s GB15/25/60, with a JL12W6. I’m going to do another set of GB’s, this time in my daily, this time using the GB10/25/60 combo with a pair of 12” JL’s. These are amazing speakers. But, good or bad tuning can really change how they sound.

No there is no check valve needed. I’m running a catch can setup. Nuke Performance 1 litre unit.
What tool is needed to remove the nut by the cigarette lighter? I was able to remove everything else up until this point… I have credit cards and drivers license trapped under the sliding door 🤦🏾♀️

Fuel injection? I’m running Siemens Deka 890cc injectors in the port manifold and mabotech upgraded direct injectors with a split second port manifold injector controller.
how many km on the car ? is it still on stock engine and how many kms on that ?
Not at all stock. Fully built. Started with a Integrated engineering crate engine, and then i built it even more on top of that. Custom pistons, custom sleeves and big boost

@@AlterdA4 thanks for the reply. Was hoping you’d respond :). Apparently Walbro 525 for both LPFP & HPFP? Interesting, I’ve never seen this done. Most people upgrade the piston on the HPFP Or replace with an Autotech branded one. Did you retain the the direct injection or convert that also? Do you also have email that I can reach out to you champion? I’m just stuck on the fence and dunno what to do, where I am, the tuners don’t seem experienced with this platform.
