  Je trouve cette chorégraphie magnifique et la musique de Debussy m'inspire ! J'ai lu le synopsis de cette vidéo et je suis enthousiasmé par l'histoire qui est décrite ! Il y a beaucoup de sensualité dans cette chorégraphie et le charme hypnotique de ce séduisant danseur ne peut laisser indifférent, ce qui crée une atmosphère quasiment envoûtante à l'ensemble de l'oeuvre ! Pour moi, c'est une véritable réussite, une splendeur bénie des dieux !!!

  Bon, j’ai cliqué en étant certain que j’allais détester! J’étais prêt à lancer une critique acerbe et dévastatrice mais….: impossible! Comment ai-je pu passer à côté de ce chef-d’œuvre? Merci de m’avoir ouvert les yeux… même à presque 60 ans, on peut apprécier quelque chose pour laquelle on était bourré d’aprioris ❤

  There are 3 substantial cuts in Debussy's music, and the opening flute solo is missing. Evidently the choreographer didn't have enough inspiration to make the whole piece. Let's go back to Nijinsky's and Balanchine's choreographies. Apart from making his handsome and accomplished danseur work very hard, he's caught nothing of Mallarmé in this drivel. Debussy would be outraged.

  Totally bonkers. But so is Nijinsky’s version of the same piece with the faun having a wank at the end of the piece. I just get the impression he is saying “ hey everyone I am beautiful watch what I can do with my body wearing just a pair of pants. “. Mind you he is very cute just wished he had snagged his pants so we got a good old look.

  The dancer is beautiful! But the dance is not clear. There is a classic version of this performance with libretto by Nezhinsky.

  Mesmerizing. The dancer & the dance. As the choreographer is also the performer, it seems he must have been aware of his own beauty as well as that of the dance. I'm curious if he is str8 or gay. After watching, I'm almost certain I am the latter.

  Personalmente non ci ritrovo il profumo di un'estate, dei versi di Mallarmé... la musica di Debussy da sola risuona un po' scollata dalla troppa eccitazione di questo fauno...
