What a great event! Some wonderful aircraft. I don't know why I didn't attend? Thanks for sharing. As me and thee are both short field trained.....I had to think whether you could have taxied to the runway rather than take off from the displaced threshold and avoid that rough ground. Your aircraft is amazing. Just a thought as I suffer from stone chips regularly on the prop. Again a great video mate with excellent radio Comms. You make me proud.👍😁
Good to see the Hovercraft, a blast from the past and yes, the old Anglo Saxon atmosphere is in peril sadly.

Having flown the B Dog for 7 years towing gliders. You never try to 3 point land it in a crosswind.

Pilots have a saying that says if it looks rite it will fly rite and that is true for the lancaster. This plane isnt just a plane its engineering, a work of art and a memorial to all those young aircrew from Bobmer Command that never came back. "LEST WE FORGET"

Those were much worse than what I saw on Saturday.Nice video mate 👍. Very impressive aircraft. Haven't we all done well...the lads who stuck with it. Still enjoying our flying. That video will help some of the flood victims understand the scale of the event. Good work. Kind regards Paul T

Might be a bit late and enjoyed the video but it looks like the Dynon needs some calibrating given the split in the ASIs and Altimeter readings. At 5100rpm most videos and performance figures I've seen suggest that the ASI indicating 110KIAS is correct. Cheers
