In the Philippines, only pork, chicken and beef, are commercially available in almost all areas. As such, meat and poultry dishes generally use one of these ingredients. In the provinces, goat, deer, carabao and some other more exotic meats are also used as alternates.
Most Filipino meat dishes are made to complement plain, white rice. The viand must be tasty so that even a small amount is enough to flavor a spoonful of rice. To go a long way, meats are usually highly seasoned and often saucy. Meats that are fried or grilled over charcoal are invariably eaten with an assortment of dipping sauces.

tried it, masarap napaupak ng kanin gf ko hahaha para daw syang nasa mang inasal. sa mga nagsasabing maasim yung timpla wag kasi gagamit ng datu puti na suka Palm vinegar po gamitin niyo. ako in My case sukang Iloco po ginamit ko kasi di sya super asim sakto lang. perfect to promise. konting tip, yung naiwang marinade ilagay lagay niyo rin via table spoon kapag binabaliktad niyo bago pahiran ng achuete oil, panalo pramis!
Salamat sa cooking tips! Tama dapat kasi palm vinegar or sukang iloko. Sobrang asim kasi yung commercial brands. Bawasan na lng siguro ng 1/2 cup para di masyadong maasim.

May i ask, do you use fresh pineapple juice or bottled pineapple juice?
As long as it is pure pineapple juice you can use it. Usually it is canned pineapple juice.
@@PanlasangPinoyMeatyRecipes thanks. we don't have canned here. i'lll try to substitute it with regular pineapple puree or other alternative.
