  In Cinema 4D this is much easier and faster: no bones are needed, all restrictions and dependencies are made on the objects themselves. In Blender, everything is too complicated as always.

  I might be blind but how the hell are you able to display the properties in the viewport like that? For me they dont show up there no matter what I do

  Actually I realized it only works if you actively select an object. How do you force Blender to show the properties in the viewport if you are controlling the properties via the scene?

  You can add custom properties in N panel > tool > workspace and it will always be visible even if you don’t have any object selected

  Copying the plates with their dummy point doesn't seem to work on 3dsmax since all the plates duplicated are still linked with the origial dummy and not their new duplicated dummies... If someone got a solution, i take :p

  Just to not confuse anyone. 8:46 he's parenting the screw to the brackets that are parented to the bone with "Object (Keep Transform)" but is referring to it as "Keep Offset". It's still a really good tutorial for the lamp rigging.

  Hi, amazing videos!! I did everything until minute 2:31, but when I move the bone as you did my spring goes away from the model. Do you know why is that? because if I move the bone that is hooked to the spring, the springs stretches fine. :( help

  i am trying from many days to transform location to rotation in open world in all directions.but it only rotate in single axis.. when direction of target object change, owner object not rotate in new direction..how can i fix this plz

  But how to constrain the pivot on the top? after all done well I it works perfectly fine in the x view only. Now I tried to add location constraint to the top too bone, but the bottom one I has no Idea what could stop it from swinging all over the place
