  If Fieldy had better tone and wasnt as percussive he would be more respected in the bass community for his style. But then it wouldn't have fit the songs as well so people wouldve shit o him for that. ya just cant win

  sooo just hit the low string open a bunch....got it. Literally the worst bass player ever. Korn only ever got popular because of the way they deconstructed heavy music. The part at the end was super sad. Dude's been making a living since the 90's off being in a band but still hasn't taken the time to learn how to play his instrument.

  he played the 5th , 6th , 4th and hammered the 2nd then slapped the open E I can play YYZ on bass and I'm a guitarist , I bet Fieldy probably can't play YYZ , but I consider him a way better player than me on bass. His groove and percussive slap skill on the bass is legendary , IMO.

  Love your style man! You do what is comfy for you and it fits the music perfectly! The way you use the effects and other things are insanely awesome also! 😎🤟 screw sticking to The “normal” way that slap bass is. Do it how ever ya find comfortable. Every person is different. We all have our own style and get inspired by bass players who’s music we love
