They should have showed a backstory like this in the show it's Epic✨❤️ In my mind their first met and the first time they spend together should have been more like this, more deeper,💘 showing more what made their bond of understanting in first place,💗 I always felt like there was a missing part of their story, just like this💞🌹
Oh shit. I never thought about that with that last scene
Stefan said the right think x
LOL LOVE IT
How did u make it then?
He knelt to save Hayley, proves how much he cared about her
I know stelena Stefan-stan people love to see this scene as the same-- but it's not the same. He actually means what he says, because he can't handle the change that she is going through and it is one of the reasons I will always be on her side with this because. The quote itself says "TODAY when we're fighting...," that was a one time thing. It was not related to the scene we saw. The Stefan in season 4 is riddled with the insecurities he has always had to deal with regarding Damon, and how he has always felt that Damon deserved more because of what he went through, the guilt that Stefan feels for the things he has done pre-mystic falls and after Klaus. Now here is a scenario, put yourself in her shoes.... You've been depressed, suicidal, hating yourself because of something that happened in your life that you're not proud of so you've been trying to drown it behind a smile, ignoring the gnawing feeling that you're not okay...You wake up after a suicide attempt and you decide to talk to your partner because YOU can't do it anymore, after the suicide attempt and feeling emotions for someone you don't want to feel emotions for that makes you feel dirty, you're looking for reassurance, comfort, support that the person that you do love is there for you-- that they, like you recognize that something is wrong and they don't accept it either but they'll be there for you because you never gave up on them when they were struggling, hades you helped them not want to die- you wait on baited breath for your partner to say something supportive, and then they say "I can't do this ______, not anymore." Your heart plummets, with guilt and feeling like you have been holding them back, you don't want to hurt them anymore so you say "I know..." Realizing what those words mean and you walk away because you don't want them to feel like they have support you if it's hurting them to that degree, because they said "When you're in hell, I'm in hell" you don't want them to feel the way you do. So, you walk away and in her case, the Sirebond takes over because she lets go of Stefan. That is the real story kids, watch the scene with that in mind. Nina was very deliberate in how she acts that scene.
Yes!! I loved Stelena in the first 2 seasons but not after that. Stefan hurt Elena as a ripper and yet she still stayed with him but that doesn't take the pain away, part of the reason why Damon had an opportunity with her. Yes and you can argue his humanity was off but it doesn't excuse his actions or the hurt caused. And he really couldn't love her as a vampire, Damon could because he loved her so much he was willing to not only help her through it but love her through it. Something Stefan couldn't do. Honestly never thought I'd find someone with a similar take on Stelena but don't know what you think on the above
@@scarletklaroline I agree with all of it, minus the Damon but that's because to me, relationships require work and building and Damon and Elena never do anything but fan service. Maybe if I saw them work through their problems instead of brushing them under a rug I might have seen them working-- but that just isn't it. Stefan being a ripper was a great arc for Elena because it showed how much she loved him. As for Damon loving Elena as a vampire...Of course he did, he made her. The Sirebond changes Elena, from the moment that she feels guilt for Damon. Her entire existence is for Damon just like she is to writers. After the Sirebond "breaks" which by the way, it doesn't Elena ceases to be the same character from that point she chooses Damon again because even as Julie Plec stated "while under the sirebond, elena believes the things that she feels". Elena Gilbert never returns. There was a promo image of this, where Ian as Damon is pictured above a dead looking Nina as Elena as a vampire, that's the canon. The Elena that exists from season 4 after the scene at the porch in this episode to the end, is the Elena created from the sirebond as said by the series itself despite the writers trying to cover their mistakes with half-baked telling plot dialogue and scenarios. While I no longer hate Damon and Elena, I will ALWAYS hate Delena after this episode because Elena had no agency and it could have been done better but even if the real Elena was present, it would still always be Stefan because even when she's with Damon she is always thinking of Stefan....Stefan on the other hand...I really wanted character development from him instead of suddenly labeling him the "not as good brother". Paul wanted at least that, but I don't like Paul either. Ian is amazing though and I'm now off track... I'm glad I found someone who agrees on the Stefan matter with me.
I mean, I don’t necessarily think it’s saying that moment again, but it is a parallel to it. That’s what MOST people enjoy about this scene because it takes that super happy scene and parallels it with the same words, so it’s an angsty parallel. They also do love each other so the call back isn’t wrong even though they also mean what they say. And It’s not really that he couldn’t deal with how she was changing, because she thought that he wanted to change her and he thought that she didn’t want to be a vampire. It was more of a communication issue on both of their parts than Stefan being the one hurting her. I don’t agree with only blaming Elena for the break up and the annoying fans that cry “ Elena sucks because she broke poor Stefan’s heart” absolutely do need to shut up. But I also think it is incredibly unfair to blame Stefan when she hasn’t been letting him in and got irritated he was trying to help get her out of a situation that in the past she said she never wanted. You can’t help someone who doesn’t want your help and you can’t constantly be there for them if they aren’t letting you. They both made mistakes and both need to work on themselves and both had issues communicating and were both struggling with mental health. They were still friends when they broke up so he still made sure to be there for her when she needed him and she tried to be there for him, so he didn’t give up on her and did notice she needed help, but at that moment their relationship wasn’t working because of both ends and because both of them were struggling. I am admittedly incredibly anti Delena, but my feelings for the ship have nothing to do with what I am saying, I don’t think they should have immediately paired her with Damon because she absolutely needed that time to heal on her own before she could be in a relationship and that wasn’t given to her. While I do ship Stelena, I’m definitely not a Stelena Stan, but I do think it is important to remember that you can love someone and also need a break from that relationship. And that breakups happen to good people all the time. It isn’t always one person being the villain, it usually is two people who love each other having issues. I don’t always defend Stefan, he makes a ton of mistakes and sometimes is the only one in the wrong. Sometimes he was manipulated and forced but still made choices and did things that hurt her and that should not be ignored. And I definitely wrote WAY more than I mentioned to. But I really enjoy media analysis and dissecting fictional relationships and thinking about character motivations. While sometimes fans (probably including myself occasionally) can admittedly be a bit delusional, I also don’t think that this is an example of that. ( BTW: I hope this comment doesn’t come off as an attack on you or something like that. I know that is very easy interpretation on the internet but I just want to share my opinion on what you said, not to get in argument over The Vampire Diaries)
@@alicat7633 I don't see it as an attack. I get what you're saying but I will blame Stefan because yes it was a communication error and they both have some fault but she actually reached out for him multiple times when he fell off the wagon, even put herself in danger because of it. However, you cannot deny that he does not do the same for her, which was the point i was trying to get across in all of that. He did not trust that Elena loved him, he let his insecurities get the best of him, and he didn't accept her as a vampire which he shouldn't have but the way he just left her to flounder when she was so broken is just wrong. If the situation were reversed, she would not have done the same to him. Yes, that's true when someone doesn't want help, yeah you can't help them. This scene is not a parallel it is an antonym, not a call back. Hades I would not be surprised if they did not even realize that they used the same dialogue. You can tell by the camera angles, the colors and the tones spoken during the talk, one thing I learned from watching anything by plec--- never trust what is being said and pay attention to the acting. You can see that Elena is silently asking for understanding from the one person who helps her make sense of it all but he's so caught up in the whole blood sharing thing and that Elena didn't listen to him (not knowing about the sirebond) he thinks that history is repeating. Instead of meeting Elena at this, talking to her about it. He runs and tells Caroline which REALLY ticked me off because that wasn't a conversation Caroline should have been a part of it was something he needed to speak to Elena about--His fears that her being so free as a vampire would cause him to let up on his control. The thing Elena is guilty of in the relationship is not communicating what she wanted from Stefan and expecting him to know because she knew...but he didn't and once again factor in the sirebond and after this scene, elena is dead.
That’s not the scene. But it’s cute❤❤❤❤
Katherine loved that episode
@@randomgeekcrap 🤣🤣 💯

STELENA girlll>>>> Them at the start was PERFECT THOUGHH
Gotta say 1st and 3rd are my favorites 🥵🥵🥵
What episode and series
I would have preferred that Klaus and in a relationship with Caroline
2 different scenes, but you really did a great job! ❤
The Writers were assholes and racists when it came writing Bonnie's character and her romantic relationships, It was bad as it gets. The writing for her family's bloodline and her family's witch history was the worst. When creating the witches and their stories and their origins for the witches, it always felt like lazy writing from how the witch stories came out in vampire diaries and originals and legacies. I noticed in other shows and books that had witches, their writing for witches were the best and their witches felt had reach the potential & the character development in the story without having problems. The witches won't as developed as vampires and werewolves in vampire diaries and originals and legacies, that is bad writing at it's finest. ( "I'm being brutally honest with no sugar coding")
For all Stelena fans, this should have been a reality ❤
What about Elena and Stefan
Did hope actually turn off the switch cus when i watched legacies i dont think she went 100% She basically did a half way thing in my opinion, perhaps due to her nature of being a original or the other parts she can't. Cus lets be honest, if she truly had no humanity there would he no Salvatore school 😂
That Made me cry wehre she burn damon 😔
I feel broken
Plot armour really saved Damon😂😂
What are these two scenes actually from?
Why tf is Caroline wearing Katherine’s daylight necklass from 1864
Katherine gave it to her as a wedding gift
This is the second edit I’ve seen of Matty and I gotta say he’s not terrible… but yet he kinda is.
I think deep down Klaus grudgingly admires Damon and his sometimes outright stupidity.
Wtf 😱
I wish Elenjah would have happened 😭💔
Jennaaaaaaa 😭😭😭😭
Annaaaaaa 😭😭😭
I’m literally chocking I’m laughing so hard.
