  I seen him on the Bark at the moon tour in Houston. I think Ozzy made a mistake moving on from Jake myself. His stuff never was as good.

  Just picked up the mahogany body version of this guitar yesterday. Visually it’s beautiful and tone wise it’s unbelievable. So happy to add this guitar to my collection! Also Gojira absolutely crushed at the Olympics. I lost count of how many times I watched that performance!

  I remember when I was shopping for an acoustic guitar a sales guy let me play a charvel alot like this one it blew my mind it's almost too easy to play just a really comfortable guitar

  The fact that Joe from Gojira exclusively uses them was already awesome to me, and I'm very surprised and happy to see he does as well! Most artists dispose crazy cash for the top of line equipment. Proves its not necessary. What slipknot and Gojira riffs have proven is how tough and beautiful sounding the Charvelle can be.

  I loved the Desolation series, I have 3 of them and they are awesome. Also have a Duplantier Tele and a 90s Charvette - but I have to say, the new Charvel Sigs are basically all the same powerstrat shapes with different finishes and wood options. I'd like to see more interesting shapes again

  This particular guitar's body looks a little bigger than regular Charvel Dinky(DK22/24) models and the horns look somewhat like the San Dimas models. But the site says Dinky body. Can someone please confirm about the body size and horn designs? Thanks

  The old pre 1984 ones are my favorites🤘 Best Guitar I've ever owned was a 1982 San Dimas in Pearl white!

  @@RolanTHUNDER Those are great guitars. I like the early 2008 USA ones and the MIJ versions that followed. When they left MIJ and started making them in Mexico they changed. The MIJ ones were top notch. Excellent fret work and a great neck shape.I have a 2008 pro mod MIA in dark candy apple red that i modded with crown head tuners, brass rings, brass switch tip essentially mimicking the old USA made ones of the early 80's. I miss my 1982 San dimas though.

  @@These_go_to_eleven_1959 well said! Everything you said is 100% true. Once they moved to Mexico, they weren't the same. I'm sure those are good guitars but not on the level of the earlier MIJ and MIA models. Same can be said for the Strats and Teles from Fender. That pro mod of yours sounds hot! Demartini fan? Remember his San Dimas from the early '80's?

  @@RolanTHUNDER Oh yeah big fan of warren's since i seen him on the Rock palace in 84. 🤘 Yeah that old san dimas he had is slightly different from the CS ones, His old one had the 1-3/4 nut size and the CS's all have the 1-11/16ths which most prefer. My Legacy neck is 1-3/4" i love it!

  @@R2R3Lockingnut Those TMZ necks are spec'd to the old 80's USA ones, same profile. I had a 2009 TMZ natural mahogany with the Vintage trem and it was great and had that neck but i traded that and a 2022 LP standard to get a Murphy Lab R9 I just had to have.😁 It was one of those situations where i had to have it. I still have 2 Charvels left, a CS 2008 Legacy Blood spatter and a 2008 USA san dimas in Dark candy apple red.

  Are the QC issues resolved with the bad shielding? ( kzread.info/dash/bejne/e4Vpptmgh8fbfKw.html ) and do the electronics now have a passive tone blend now? Is the balance (neck dive) improved over the previous version? If this is fixed this may become my dream bass (except for the available colors xD). But the choice of pickup (reverse P :D), hardware and especially neck seems to be amazing!

  After hearing Kiss, I wanted to play guitar. Didn't get one. Ac/dc. I wanted to play guitar. Didn't get one. Heard Bark at the Moon, seen Jake E. Lee and heard his playing and seen the guitar. I bought a cheaper black and white guitar and bought it! Been playing ever since! Jake, that guitar turned out to be my anti-drug, anti-get into trouble, anti-knock her up on accident. Jake E. Lee, I love you, man!! I never made it big! But!! I still have my first guitar as my trophy in life that I conquered all of life's challenges! It sits in its guitar stand at the fireplace and makes this house full of what I was all about! Jake E. Lee is my Guitar Hero! Thank you, Jake!!
