As someone who stumbled upon POE around abyss. It’s interesting seeing what people do and don’t pick up on.
What gets me is some of those orbs are so rare and drop far and few between that the mechanic of the rolls being completely random when used on a item makes late game crafting seem impossible. I honestly dont understand how this dude is like "Yeah, just use some chaos orbs and some devine orbs. No big deal". Like, what?

Anyone feel We could still have a Monk as well as a Spiritborn? Just make the Monk weightier and slower in attacks and movements, more defensive and tanky. Some ideas; Basic attacks, all have short gap closers. They don't have elements are all physical. You could take multiple basic attacks as the bonuses stack and His class mechanic is He gains attack speed and a damage buff for a few seconds after He uses a different basic or core from the last up to around 6 times or so. - Super fast punches that give some attack speed - Flashy kicks that give some move speed - Elbows and knees that give armour penetration - Palm strikes that give fortify Core skills - For Monk; Flame, Lightning, Poison, and Ice Aura. Each aura gives You a passive % resistance against an element of it's kind. And when activated You charge up the aura gain elemental AOE damage for a short time and enhance your next three attacks to deal a % of that element. Technique/Defensive skills, -3 charge chain dash that knocks opponents back a short distance You become unstoppable for 0.25 seconds during each dash. -A knock back 360 kick that stuns when they collide with terrain -Meditate in mid air, becoming unstoppable but rooted in place and unable to attack. Heal HP each second as well as a damage shield. -Thunder clap, clap and do a ring of thunder around You that deals lightning damage and puts a debuff on the enemies meaning they deal 40% less damage and when they're hit they're stunned and the debuff expires, as well as taking an additional small amount of lighting damage. Mastery, These skills will actually use His weapons as all other skills so far are just hands and feet, knees and elbows. Big devastating elemental attacks that You need three "combo points" which are gained from casting your core skills three times or more (Up to five). -Jump into the air and front flip into an over head slam that smashes into the ground and causes a fire explosion that blinds enemies and puts a fire DOT on them as well as some initial damage.. Utimate -Charge up a Chi ball, become unstoppable and rooted while charging and Kamehameha spirit bomb blast a huge area, and does 400% damage to bosses when use for the first time on them. That's all I got so far, making the Monk more of an anti elemental type of Bruiser/Juggernaut/Tank that's more vulnerable to physical damage than a Barb, or Druid e.c.t.

My biggest gripe about the story of Diablo 4 so far is why in the F*** we allowed a teenage girl to wield the soul stone we built to imprison Lilith, why we LET her use it on mephisto and then LET her run off with it, like.......... What!? Why would our character be so careless!?!?!

I can't wait for Neyrelle to succumb to Mephisto and get to kill him again, and then well never have to deal with her childish whining again. Please dont let us get stuck with her as a replacement for deckard cain. We already had the "kill off beloved characters and replace them with annoying teenager" treatment in BL3. Don't let it happen to Diablo as well.

The majority of PoE players who ridicule D4 is cause we are angry at Blizztard, cause they made such garbage.. PoE has been around for a decade, so there is ZERO reasons why Blizztard devs couldnt have checked out what the superior game is doing, and ATLEAST get some inspiration to implement to their own shit-fest. But they chose not to.. I can only speak from my own experience, but i still remember fondly my first steps into arpg games and it being Diablo 2. Used to play that religiously with my friends, at school we would talk about these cool items that we found and during evenings we'd play together for hours. Overall, amazing times. Then we skip ahead to the utter shitshow that is Diablo 4, which is in EVERY POSSIBLE METRIC a worse game than PoE, a game that came out in 2013.. I would love nothing more than Blizztard devs actually paying attention to their competition and either just borrowing ideas, or improving on them and make D4 an actual good game But alas they didnt do anything even remotely that. For example, they made pitifully tiny stashes, and the FIRST LEAGUE THEY MADE added tons of new gems that took up easily 2-4 mule characters* Like C'mon, clearly they dont even play (test) their own game ! Or how about them releasing the game, and the MAIN DEFENSE mechanic for caster classes, Resistances, DID NOT WORK AT ALL for the FIRST TWO LEAGUES ?! (Not sure if those have been fixed by now, i really dont care enough to check) Or how there is ONE ( 1 ) "Pinnacle" Boss in D4, Lilith, and the only way the Bliz Devs thought of making it "hard" was to make it buggy and have 1 shot kill moves, thats it. Where as in PoE you have Shaper / Elder / Atziri / Eater of Worlds / Searing Exarch etc etc. And each of those are hard but they actually have mechanics, just like you said. That is so idiotic that i do genuinely feel sad and sorry for any d4 fan that tries to defend that, cause they are suffering from Sunk Cost Fallacy to such degree that Blizz could come to their house and shoot their dog, and they would thank them for it.. *mule character is a new character whos sole purpose is to be as additional storage space
