  So you need 2 arduino boards to build this? I am very new to doing anything like this and want to learn badly. I wish i could get someone to really teach me hands on, how to build this. You probably dont have time to do something like that. Im just an old disabled man who wants to learn. I could pay someone to teach me although i couldnt afford much. Do you have a parts list and diagram showing how to wire everything? It would have to be a simple wiring diagram though. I saw where you have to code for it on gethub but i didnt see a parts list or diagram? Could you post those things an maybe i can try to build one myself? Thanks

  i have a Thinkpad E14 20DY001DB0 (Brazilian) and it have a full hd 14" inches TN display, i absolytelly love this computer, but i hate this screen, the colors are dead, the angle view are horrible even the contrast are horrible, and i had a idea to change the display for a IPS one, how do i know if my laptop is compatible?

  do you have a Dell Inspiron N4050 laptop? what processor is in the laptop and what graphics card (Radeon or only HD Graphics)? Laptop graphics cards can be viewed in Windows in the "Task Manager", section Videoadapters.

  Please help. I ran the CPU ID and mine says Intel Pentium Processor T4500 and Max is 35W. I did not see the expandable section on the ark site (Expansion Options). Does that mean I can not upgrade the CPU?

  You are making a video about NAS on a laptop.... But you don't say anything about how you connect the extra drives you show in the end of the video to the laptop... Wouldn't it be a bit important in a NAS system to know how to connect extra drives you would think?

  Thermostat wiring is pretty easy to work with. It’s just a matter connecting the wire representing the system you want to turn on to the ground wire.

  Thanks...seriously considering buying one of these. Six cores or eight cores, not sure. I'll be crunching HD videos for KZread so I think 16 gigs might be enough. But it's nice to see how easy it is to add another stick. Only $56 from Crucial. With that many cores and a fast SSD, I should be able to render a 10-minute HD clip pretty quickly. Might not need 32 gigs. Thanks again...

  Oh, this is an excellent set of questions, and I may have some answers. First, depending on the amount of connections on a laptop mainboard, you may or may not have room for expansion. Take my daily driver laptop: the Lenovo l340-15iwl, it has one sata connection(older laptops have at least one, newer most likely have switched to m.2) one slimline sata connection(this is where your optical media drive is plugged into) and 2 m.2 connectors(one for an ssd and one occupied by the wifi card). sata ports cannot be split so without adapters I can only have one sata drive. Using a slimline sata to sata adapter, I can now have two sata devices connected. but using an m.2 sata hba key (5 port models can be found for around $30 USD on Amazon) you can increase the amount of data connections to potentially 7, and since nobody runs servers on wifi, that m.2 2242 for wifi can be sacrificed for a small m.2 boot ssd. Keep in mind that the wifi m.2 is usually limited to 1x or 2x, possibly affecting boot times, however with something runnign full time, this wont be an issue. Energy for these drives is somewhat of a predicament, you could purchase an atx power supply and use a 24pin jump to power the drives, but I'd prefer using a smaller pico power supply and adapting the 8 pin to sata. Hope this helps!

  That is a U cpu and is soldered down. Only M cpus are socketed.
