I think this bike should have atleast twin cylinder...or else the price should be very low..650 cc n single cylinder is not a very good idea
Just about to do the same on mine. Be nice to know where it is maybe!
Just some local roads around Reading, Berkshire.
@@BLPmotorbikeRides Ahh thats near me! Was thinking of doing some Green laning on my Himmy near Thatcham.... (Am windsor so will be a day out and filming etc. Got a demo ride this weekend @Rykas)
Perfect Sunday afternoon ride on the perfect Sunday afternoon bike to explore little lanes and tracks, polite to horses too. The only way that Sunday ride could've been made more perfect is cream teas, nice vid BLP 👍
Nice upgrades 😊do you still have the shad seat
Yep. Still super comfortable. Couldn’t go back to the standard seat now.
Very nice machine. Well done dad and you. 👍👍
Thanks very much 👍
Nice back box
It can get a bit stuffed!
@@BLPmotorbikeRides 🤣
Where is the seat from mate? Struggling with mine :(
Sorry bud. I bought it second hand from a guy on eBay. No idea where he had it made.
Can you share a link to buy the denali soundbomb
Sorry, I bought it about four years ago and I can’t actually remember where I got it from.
Lol its alright for you with your off road spider tyres, while some of us take our lives in our hands with ROAD tyres, and it just at 3.20 I was s*iting myself it was pretty much the whole time lol.great vid BLP
The same thing just happened to my motorcycle after 28,000 KM. What did you guys do to resolve this? This is quite unacceptable from Royal Enfield, a quick search shows this literally everywhere. The reason this breaks is due to the inherent frame design flaw.
Amazing sounding and looking bike BLP that looks very much like watership down unless I'm very much mistaken, great vid mate 👍👍👍
Another piece of junk
YDR You are correct, sir.
😂 don’t go into too much detail.
I'm genuinely interested Richard. What's your problem with this bike
That is not as much of a road as I thought , classic understatement lol that was just a very long muddy puddle
😂
Lol hilarious, " let me check waze", nope I'm off on my green lane bike while you struggle on your road bike lol, great vid BLP
Nice bike man
Thanks bud
How or why would someone take on suburban traffic without mirrors? Beyond me!
Statistically, more motorcycles with mirrors are involved in road accidents than motorcycles without. I’m just playing it safe.
Looks like fun mate....though not helping me make sensible decision with my EVR money!😂
Nice gear, what brand is it
I think it’s part of Oxfords gravel rash range.
Great vid BLP!!
Thanks 👍
Lol Another GoPro bites the dust but it went out doing what it loved being dragged through a muddy puddle, great vid BLP
😂 thanks mate. Luckily I know where I can get hold of another one. Assuming it hasn’t fallen off the back of a bike again.
That's a fantastic bike. I had a Trident in the 90s and as I was missing that 3-cylinders, recently I bought a Sprint 900 1997, green too. The only thing I don't like much is the height and angle of handlebars. I think your bike had originally the same bars as mine so I guess I could too easily adapt the 1996-2003 Trophy ones. What do you think?
Sure. None of the cables needed adapting when I replaced the handlebars so it should be pretty straight forward for you to change them over on your sprint. I’ve also seen people replace the whole top yolk so they can use traditional 7/8 handlebars, which gives it a bit more of a streetfighter look.
@@BLPmotorbikeRides Thanks for your reply, mate. I will go for the Trophy bars. It should help: in my memories my Trident was much easier to handle and corner, due to narrower tires and lighter weight on front wheel I guess and... the younger biker I was back in the 90s (haha).
Lol, who knew Jimmy Hendrix was singing about rhododendron, now I thought certain herbs were more his thing, lol
😂
HD ower cool cycle USA GHOST ING
Sweet ride. 💪🛵
super cool beesa
Now that's a real chop, stick some low rise apehangers on it and I'm in.
I had an identical A10 chopper in the early 1970's when I lived in Swindon it could even been the one that I owned. I paid £50 for it and it was great that you made this video riding her as it was like going back in time for me.
52/53 plunger A10 with S/A Ally head, Ive the same, and i wonder why they ever went full-blown pre-unit.... great to see it!
Nice bike!!
Thanks 👍
Nice bike BLP, sounds amazing, congratulations to the camera man outstanding filming lol, great vid BLP 👍
Thanks mate. I thought I’d better make use of the camera man before he spends all his spare time on his new bike!
(Congratulations, well shot!! 😉)
La grosse blague une mt07 contre une hornet 600 faut peu etre accelere avec ton 600 sais mieux ta plus de cv plus de couple plus d allonge
I'd dump the large original can for something a bit more fruity like the GRmoto exhaust
No fork sanction protection or rad guard, 🤷🏻♂️
JUST DIG THOSE SOUND AFFECTS KEWL IS COOOL
DANG WISH MY M8 TWINKIE AND POOPY EVO MOTOR SOUNDED LIKE THIS HERE SHOVELSLED AWESOME THANSK
Ha - as I come to watch this - the view count is 411 - do I get a prize? lol
😂
Hey men try 450 Himalaya u fill like birds ❤
I will have to give that a test ride. Maybe in the next couple of weeks.🤞
Off.. the chugging sound is so soothing 👍👍💯❤️
I do love the sound of that big lazy single cylinder 👍
Lovely bike and cool video! Thanks for sharing!
Thanks. Glad you enjoyed the video 👍
What an utter tank the himalayan is it just keeps chugging along, as unstoppable as a terminator, you could be dead on top of that thing and it would keep going until it hit something or ran out of petrol, crazy British weather nice sunny day and yet we're under two feet of water, lovely views tho, great vid BLP
Lol yep, it’s definitely up there on the zombie apocalypse list. Just keeps going and going!
That's a posh new bike. It really glides down them green lanes effortlessly great vid BLP
Green lanes, public footpaths. It’s all good 😂
I have a 22 Sport Glide and love it. The shovel is nice but at my age I prefer riding to fxing.
I get that. My old man has four shovels and they’re all great but he’s constantly working on them to keep them on the road. Sometimes it’s nice to have something you can just get on and go.
I own one.. you were not trying on the first run lol
😂😂😂 that is the best video you've done so far, the classic how not to do it lol
The squelchy trudge of shame lol
😂 thanks for all your help by the way!
Lol sorry mate I didn't hear my phone I was having too much fun riding around
😂
Nice unstressed engine sound😊
had this happen to me last week! I didn't use a top box, but strapped two big backpacks + pillion. I won't blame RE, I'd ridden it 3000km+ all over India no issue, before putting it through 100km straight of off-road up here in Nepal, on the way to Kathmandu. If there were any alternate routes on that last stretch - were it broke - I would definitely have taken them!
Wow! Sounds like you really put the bike through it’s paces! That’s a journey I’d love to do one day. Fair play to you, couldn’t have been easy doing it two up.
India's a mad house haha, whole of South Asia is at least 40% offroad!
Proves that you don't need a modern enduro bike to enjoy greenlaning! I think the best time on the lanes was in the 80s when were were riding trail bikes like the Yamaha DT175MX and Honda XL's. Not as old as the B40, but I still occasionally ride my 1980 Yamaha on the local lanes.
The Shovel Head is the coolest, but I would have the 107 without hesitation.
Shovelheads forever. I would not touch this junk Harley is producing today. Do you think many of them will be around in 50 yrs? Doubt it.
The clear winner is the 81 shovelhead....
I have a 81 shovelhead fxs. I have to say you are lugging the bike or atleast it sounds like it.
