Had 56k Gold sitting on my account. Decided to try my luck with 10 crates. Got the Ka-Ri on Crate 1 and Crate 10. All the gold and other stuff I received put me back at 52k Gold. So all in all, I spent 4k Gold on the Ka-Ri. Not a bad deal.

No. The Smasher has never been touched so to nerf them is a myth. The real reason is because gold, not credits, it's the exchange value for selling them. Personally, WG should just make all premium tanks worth gold and leave collectors as tanks difficult to obtain, typically only from events.

@helekachopter696 WG started it about 2 months ago and also made the cost double to buy a tank back that you sold. That was stop people using collectors as a gold bank, so only sell if you don't want it permanently. Another factor was compensation for duplicates. Gold is much better compensation than credits if you won a tank from a box or event and already owned it.

Clearly statistics are inflated because most players at these tiers are facing bots. You need to know the average career battles at the tier to get an accurate conclusion. Experienced players dropping down tier would not use most of these tanks.

You need to remember that some of these tanks are shocking without top modules, with the SU 101 the classic example. People are playing it so long with the weak guns with just 2 degrees of depression, and it's not until the top gun (a tier 10 gun) with 4 degrees of depression that it really zings. Things like the Indien are probably skipped by experienced players that know those tanks are weak, while the Centurion is difficult for new players. It's obviously not that bad otherwise similar tanks like the Strv 81 and Centurion 5/1 would also have bad win rates. The STA actually has good armour (on the turret) so, again, it's weaker players mostly using it. Interesting that many are tier 8 medium tanks with low damage guns, which is a tier dominated by powerful heavies and some lethal destroyers.

SU-101 is so much fun...on a flat surface lol. Challenger is just that...a challenge when the HESH ain't workin'. I dunno, I had a pretty good time grinding the Cent Mk.1, I can see where folks can struggle with it tho. I can understand the Indien Panzer, that thing needs some love and right now it is very hard to be successful in the thing with the game as it is.

According to the tier list most of the tanks were not popular, paper, horrible stock grind and bit powercreeped. STA-1: It's a decent tank but requires much effort to make it workable, stock is horrible, one reason why people grind STA they want the T10 (STB) Cuz it looks cool, well I'm one of those Players. SU-101: Gun Depression is its main issue obviously, the stock grind is a hell like the xp on it's gun is hella expensive. Charioteer: The tank's stock is horrible (55k XP) I think most of the underperforming games were on stock. Centurion: Stock is horrible, top turret is a bit weak, the roof turret forehead what makes hulldown uncomfortable, alpha damage is underwhelming also, you have to peek a boo a lot with a uncomfotable turret. Indien Pz: Odd ball in the German line, I find it ok just why? cuz it was paper, bit slow didn't trust the turret much, the stock grind is horrible also.
