    Is anyone actually going to let you just pull their leg up like that. Seems unrealistic to me

  • @themerge.online
    @themerge.online8 күн бұрын

    If you pay them enough...serious answer now, if you time it with their step rhythm you can pull it off. Even if you don't try and time their rhythm the goal is to just throw it out there since it is so low risk high reward... if i miss it, i am still in my stance and good position. I think I mention that in the video

  • @themerge.online
    @themerge.online16 күн бұрын

    Timing. It’s you catching his leg at the right time when it’s lighter. If you snatch when it’s heavy you are not going to move it. Also it’s high reward low risk, if you attempt to snatch and fail you are in no danger. Just meant to throw out there

    Seems great. Since there are only hooks it looks he would be able to step his leg over and base out to prevent the sweep tho. But once you’re more advanced, simply making him base out(off balance for a second) is all you need to get something going.

    Just a question with the submission. When not in competition and going for tap what would be the street use for this or is this strictly for competition

  • @themerge.online
    @themerge.online2 ай бұрын

    If you do this in a street situation or even competition it could be used for general control.

  • @jamesrocha9473
    @jamesrocha94732 ай бұрын

    I mean you're totally safe, there is little to nothing your opponent can actually do to you. The highlight of grappling in a street situation is usually your opponent won't have a lot of experience or ways to prevent it from happening, put them in a hold like this and they are stuck their until you let them up.
