Canada vs US in woman's hockey gold medal game...never saw that one coming! I'll give them this, there were more exciting highlights in that game than the Edmonton-Vancouver game 6 last night.

This is pathetic. As a hockey player and you're asked to participate in a tournament against nine other teams but there's only one team out of the nine that can compete with your team. (this one and only competitive team has been the same team the whole time.) Would you play in that tournament? No I wouldn't. First of all it would be boring to me. Secondly I'm a competitive player (I am a goalie). You women on the Canadian and the U.S. team shouldn't be bragging about any of those medals you won in the World's or the Olympics.

You can win games, but can never say you are world champion because Russia was excluded! With the exclusion of Russia in world championships or Olympics, it's impossible to claim to be the best, because there's an individual or a team that they hasn't been beaten and until then, the athletes feel they don't deserve the title because they know that their victory is bittersweet, because there's a chance that there's someone or a team better that's they are. It's a shame woke politics get in the way of sports competition, perhaps the athletes can start a new world competition of their own without political interference of any kind, so that the titles do reflect the outcomes of fair competition and true sportsmanship. If I was a competitor and I won, I'd want the victory to be fair, total and real, that is, leaving no to beat!

This game and other games were held at the Adirondack Bank Center in Utica NY and I grew up 15 minutes east of Utica in a town called ilion and I should've been at this game. Team USA should have won this game
