  I think it's certainly possible to think that you want combos nerfed and hit falling improved. You may want hit stun reduced, which will dramatically reduce combo game potential, but also hit falling buffed to make up for some of that, and perhaps increase the technical skill required to keep combos going. I've not played the game, but that's how I would interpret those seemingly contradictory statements.

  fuck i'm so hyped for this game. i'm not huge into fighting games in general, but i love plat fighters conceptually and thing there's a ton of untapped potential. I'm gonna be a melee fan till i die, but this game might become my main competitive game

  I worked on P:M a LONG time ago, and honestly I lost track of everything that was going on with it about 14 years ago. This video reminds me of all the good times, and I remain in awe of how passionate the community is. Thank you for making such a great video!

  Loxodont looks like a lot of fun. My problem with his design is that it's unintuitive. If a video game character puts magma on the ground, opponents should take damage from walking on it. If a video game character has a mechanic where the spend time armoring themselves, the armor should enhance their durability in some way.

  I’m not gonna lie, as an Incineroar main in Smash Ultimate, I’m kinda sad you didn’t mention the WWE cat when talking about characters made as grapplers. Edit: You mentioned him later.. I feel a little better lol.

  13:58 Considering you're probably one of the biggest current content creators for Rivals 2, is there any way for them to give you more access? I would love to see more guides. I watched a guide (Only on Tuesdays) for Lox and it easily multiplied my enjoyment of the game by 10x. Just having a basic gameplan and knowing some super basic kill confirms is so transformative for someone like me who is mainly coming from traditional fighters.

  @@sandrocastanero3759 La Reina, she's the community created/fan made character that won the contest to officialy join the roster of Rivals 2 (not at launch tho). She's an ant wrestler that controls metal (chairs) and has a sick grappler moveset, you can test her with the Rivals of Aether steam workshop :D

  @@theoblooky7864 lol I know La Reina, i didn't of her with 'le rina', I played her since I saw the CC tournament, but I didn't though she was winning the contest, but here we are!!! Really excited to play her in Rivals 2, I was a Ranno/Clairen main but I want to solo main Loxodont until La Reina drops out
