I came here not knowing what to expect, I've never seen you before, but I must say, well done! Up there with Placido Domingo I would say, in your own way. You seemed to do all you could with your particular voice, and really it amazed me!

Why doesn't anyone clap at the end? That's the best version I've seen done, other than Denver's original.

I was wondering if I needed Matt Alber himself singing this song to make me cry. But no. Thanks, Parker Scott, you touched my heart.

Hello There! I would like to perform this piece together with a piano and a cello, the same instruments as you used in this video. Which sheet music did you use? Thank you.

Not a bad performance. I think it was a little high for this tenor's range. If it had been one step lower, he probably would have been able to hit those high notes.

Nice song, nice performance, and the acoustics- not that bad; the piano, the cello, the voice are wonderful, but the singer still has to work on his high notes, definitely they wouldn't sound well, and therefore destroyed the allover delightful impression!

Thank you MifuneBoBune. This is a great song. I love singing it... and yes - it does remind me of Walt Whitman too. I will be singing another song in Fall 2013 - Leonard Bernstein wrote the music to Walt Whitman poetry. It is really beautiful.
