Hi
On behalf of XQI members: Regarding the new law "Willful Defiance" Did you ever think that you are doing it to your own country? Kids can refuse to put their phones away, and complete classwork, and it will be OK. Let kids go away with defiance to teachers and schools without any serious discipline!! Forcing teachers to be disrespected and defied is TEACHER ABUSE, is easy to sign irresponsible laws, but teachers day by day have to go through hell with defiant students! You teach them! or send special teachers and preventive programs to support your terrible law!! YOU TEACH THEM!!! TEACHERS DON'T ACCEPT IT! YOU ARE PROFESSIONALS NO JUST BABYSITTERS!!
Ban all homeless People please
I heard about a restaurant in Long Beach called Nino’s Italian restaurant from Kitchen Nightmares.
Blessed be 💫
Propaganda. Serra was loved by his community and admired. 3 munks vs 1000 indians. Not a real statement of rape and kill a very poor history.
I love this film so much just want to tell you this is definitely a masterpiece and very positive I have learned a lot from you hope you make more like this Maybe we can communicate or take another our challenges
I remember when they burned down Hansen’s Market, only for it to be rebuilt, and then torn down for condos.

Luke 6:30 give to those who ask of you and whoever takes your stuff don't ask for it back.
Bad enough during the pandemic covid-19
This one is pretty easy....Women don't buy jeans with deep pockets....probably because they look masculine. So manufacturers and designers don't make them that way
Sabaidee 🙏
My dad was a cook back when colonial buffet was open on 1st and Elm and he had to go to work and make food for all the national guards and police officers during that time. He told me so much what happened and he remember the police shot and killed a man on the gas station on 7th and alamitos and burned down a 99cent store "which is mcdonalds now" on 4th and bonito. Him and the neighbors will be outside all night with their water hose ready in hand just in case someone decided to start burning houses down. Crazy times
He stood up to the soldiers and protected natives. The speakers in this video need to read history about him. 😍
this people is dumb they don’t even know who was St Junipero Serra
Blind hatred from these people
Leyenda negra.
Im part Native American and I think its cool Serra is a saint. Also im part Spanish
the sound is not good I am quite disappointed

I use to go to this school!! My name is Jamar Morris
Here’s my thought on this. Years ago there was a beautiful neighborhood just outside of Pittsburgh. Lots of mostly Italian Americans who worked hard to keep their homes and landscaping up. I’m not talking money people-I’m referring to actual hard work. Some of the folks moved out as happens and the ones who moved in? It blew everyone’s mind watching how their lazy attitude just destroyed this once beautiful place! So yup, ALL the original owners sold and moved. When a group of people inhabiting a town decide to let it go it then opens a portal for gentrification to enter. Basically it their own fault. Whiners are lazy - hard workers don’t have time to complain! When this man lost his job what kept him from getting another one? Why stay on unemployment? It’s the easy way out or so they think till the bank comes a knockin.
The solution is so simple. Have police walk a beat in every neighborhood. Install substations in every neighborhood. That way the police can become a part of the community they patrol.
The people speaking on this video (in English by the way) are so distant from the facts and deeds regarding Junipero Serra, and they look at this historical figure so much through the American lenses and present ideological perspective. Im sure they dont know the person, history and context. They are like parrots repeating nonsense. I love the video´s title Local Native American React, as a whole, with this stupid universalistic tone covering a political agenda.
govt is broke.. any money govt shows is BORROwed money.... money borrowed by selling treasury bonds to raise cash... government has to scramble to pay back the bonds... it's not working very well so government has to borrow even more money.. result is that we are thirty trillion dollars in debt and have no way out...
The thing that That foo said at 2:50 true to dis day signal hill cops be trippin
The riots that happened in 2019 was legendary fuck the police
Very nice video my dear friend I’m new friend
This video is a complete fabrication. These people are not homeless. They are Houseless, Prison Cell Less or MentalWardLess. This video must have been made by Bleeding heart liberals who have no conception of what it's like for hard working, taxpaying long Beach citizens have to put up with while being constantly confronted by these bums.
It is truly sad that someone who walked on foot a thousand miles across Mexico to support a bill of rights for Native Americans would be trashed in this way.
Truth people, if races are still fighting, hating, etc. And nothing is working or changing or getting better. So, just seperate all races and see what happens. See who prospers and see who fails. Start each race with equal everything. And test this. It sounds profane, crazy , nuts that this could even be an option. But something has to change. I know I'd be on the country of " it don't matter " the all get along country, not white, black, asian, etc. No drugs, alcohol, guns, just community, and love and positive hard working people. Nothing is free orange/Broadway. I will never tell anyone what I did that week. And today I'm ashamed of it but at that time. Yu had to do what you had to do. I was a white man.
Thank you for helping these people not feel like they're in an echo chamber. Hearing and seeing their day-to-day is so important.
There is a law that is the wrong way round, it says a person's front garden and staircase's of flats are classed as communal and you are only allowed to ask these sort of people to leave, yet they threaten innocent people for years until somebody is killed, this law needs to change and be a stronger law to protect the innocent really.ave put up with gangs of teenagers setting fires, urinating and smashing bottles among other things. They have terrorized me.
Senay is really out here doing God's works!. Good works my brotha. I grew up in Long Beach , I can definitely relate, it used to make me so mad to have get on the buss to go on a 3 hour grocery trip to a quality store or farmers market just to get quality food. I'm glad we're bringing light to this!
that's the price we pay for burning down our neighborhoods during riots . no one want to invest there not bc of profit but bc of insurance rates. in the future we need govt backed groceries like we have fdic banks.
I was 7 and it was the scariest thing I’d ever seen. Living on the east side off 10th and Alamitos at that time was scary but ESPECIALLY during that week.
Wow ! I know pope Francis is heretical but junipero sera was a holy man he helped saved a lot souls to heaven the Indians who lived back than with junipero Serra were so lucky because they had the true faith . Not like us who have the heretical Vatican 2
Nicole u read my mind
Do these people seriously think Fray Junípero Serra did all those things they say he did? The bad things that happened were going to happen anyway, they were already happening What Fray Junípero Serra did was, partially, to try to stop the abuse. Are they seriously blaming Fray Junípero Serra for them being drunks? Seriously? How brainwashed you have to be to belive this shit.
Awesome youth journalism project and thanks for putting this out into the community through Senay’s voice. Food justice for Wrigley!
Absolutely spot on!
I knew a young man, a boy once that I had a serious crush on. He was a friend of a friend. I never knew that he had that lifestyle. He was nice to me. He would have asked me on a date, but...you know the weekend me and my friend were supposed to meet up with him, he got shot and killed. Years later, it still haunts me. He was only 16 years old. His mother had lost her husband, and he was her only son, possibly only child. He's in a better place now. But years later..it's so sad. My friend told me about it years ago. But I thought he stood me up,and I thought she was lying to make me feel better. Then recently, I searched google, and found out it was true. It's been so hard. I'm still alive, living my life. But, he's gone. Maybe it's survivors guilt, in a way...maybe it's wishing I had a chance to spend time with the boy who treated me nice. I don't know. I got mad and wanted to know why someone would do this kind of thing. Now I realize the people who did it were so young too. Probably brainwashed. Idk. I'm sure they wish they never did it. But yeah it's weird.. For those that want this life, please think again, and think of this. Things like this are not worth it.
What school is this at?

Children and young people associated with gangs are in general extremely vulnerable. Children may join gangs for a number of reasons: For protection from others; gangs, groups or peers To feel accepted or a sense of belonging For a sense of identity For respect Because siblings, family members or partners are gang members For excitement For status amongst peers and others Because they feel like it’s the ‘norm’ For friends and acceptance For potential sexual/romantic partners For financial gain and other rewards Out of fear, intimidation or threats As a result of being groomed or recruited by gang leaders Children may think that being in a gang may be exciting or rewarding, but the reality is very different. Being part of a gang puts children and young people at risk of: Committing crime Dealing, trafficking or taking drugs A criminal record and higher risk of ending up in prison Violence or death
You a real killa big up u self
Missions were similar the slave plantations but for native tribes. I interviewed the former Administrative Secretary of the Fransiscan friars of California. In the 1980s she personally redacted documents that depicted any murder/violence toward natives written in Father Serras and brother Joes writing. kzread.info/dash/bejne/im1o2NCFXaqfaM4.html
Oh gawd, don’t tell me Junipero is the source of all you dickens problems hundreds of years later. Pull your chonies up
What did white american people against the natives!?? ( 1:43) They dont talk about! Natives with englush names! Manipulation video!
You don't even know how to spell English but if you want to learn about the reason why these Natives have "englush" names, look up the word assimilation.
@@jessicasmalley755 Then how is it logical to keep calling them "natives"? xD
