  I'd love to know how you're supposed to do it if you can let me know. This was the method I was eventually shown ... Fortunately that was all finished long ago .. no instructions with the tool... And very few videos online hence posting this as it was the only way I could get it to work effectively. Can you describe the correct method...? Cheers

  Nice board! So do u think it depends on what bass you have, for example if I have Music Man, should I try to buy status or jazz bass for Chris sound?

  Hi...yes it was a decent board ...it changed a lot over the years. Music man should be great bass...in my experience you might just need to reduce the gain on some other if the pedals. My jazz is an active bass so probably puts out as much signal as your humbuckers..I don't think the bass makes that much difference. If you think about it Chris has had Pedula, fenders, Gibson's and Status basses....he still manages to get his tone. I'm about to move to Helix for my latest rock covers band... I reckon that or the HX stomp, could be fantastic for Muse tones..lots of routing options

  Great video I've already bought full makita guide rail kit .was until I seen your video going to buy the makita plunge saw now after watching your video off to screwfix thebuy the erbuar track saw kit .I've already got every tool they do and have never been disappointed in any of them used to be bosch makita user but never again thanks again Great video

  No problem ..I was going to do a follow up. The saw has done an absolute ton of work...all the flat roof osb, a full walk-in wardrobe in oak and oak veneerd MDF and is 3/4 the way through a bespoke kitchen cutting big sheets of MFC. So points, good and bad.... Good: still on first blade..( unreal although will swap out for a new one when I do the laminated doors for kitchen) incredible value for money, is pretty accurate. I love the small track lengths now I have two 1.5m Makita lengths. If I was in Industry full time still I would buy a more expensive one and use this for roughing out panels. There are no real bad points, just stuff to consider; I find the cable too short for cutting 10' boards. It's quite rough feeling when it runs...not a problem, just something to be aware of. The depth guage is at least 2mm out in mine .I have to set at 21mm to cut 19mm board..again not a biggy... The only 2 things that do wind me up occasionally are; the release button on the handle...it can be pretty sticky sometimes...I guess that is where hitting a price point affects the quality...very annoying when you are in a run of multiple cuts. Lastly it does cut out sometimes... Not overloading it or the blade grabbing..just you can feel it is an in expensive brushed version..it ls almost like it just runs out if steam...has only started doing it as the blade dulls so presuming a sharp blade is important to this machine. So in conclusion....would I buy it again.....yes and no ...if I had known how much I was going to use a track saw I would definitely have bought a cordless one...100% definitely cordless.....however Milwaukee didn't have their cordless track saw for sale in the UK when I bought this and I didn't want another set of batteries. I have Festool stuff but there is no way I can justify their price so wasn't interested in that. So with the budget I had at the time I can't really fault it.... I certainly don't regret buying it at all.

  @@bassmandudge I'm using mine for similar work I prefer it on makita track and I've took anti kick back off so can pull it back mine very occasionally cuts out like you said but really can't fault it I've been cutting 10×5 much myself cut and accuracy very good I may in time extend flex all my tools are erbuar cordless can't fault any of them .thanks again for your video

  Hi...yeah they were ok...if I had to recommend solderless go with the Harley Benton ones.... Unbelievable value and I have them on 2 giggling boards and have had no failures and the jacks are super small... The George ls will be going on eBay....

  To be honest I'm not familiar with that unit... But if you can use parallel paths I should imagine you should be able to get pretty close. Big muff, decent octave, clean blend and maybe a filter on the effected side could work ... Like I say I am not familiar with the Boss' ability, signal path so it's hard for me to advise..... Maybe someone else on here maybe able to help

  Nice video, although I shied right away from using pallets in this way as if you think about it pallets are designed to be evenly lifted from two forks, this setup means there's a huge bending force there trying to snap it in half.

  Actually in reality it really didnt work like that...as the 2 cables are attached to the point the forks would lift. I had this one loaded with a max of 7 x 100mm dense concrete blocks per lift and moved almost 600 blocks without any issue or pallet bending... The pallet is still going strong....obviously you make one of these at your own risk but if you choose a well made pallet and think carefully about wire placement it is an incredibly cost effective system. However I would never encourage anyone to do anything they feel uncomfortable with so it will always be at your own risk.

  @@bassmandudge yeah it worked well for those small loads, thanks for sharing. When a pallet is holding a tonne it's got rigid forks under it but you'd never do a tonne on a hoist. Have a good weekend.

  @@JohnDuffell your absolutely right for sure... My winch only has a 400kg lift limit so the pallet was made to lift that maximum and it attaches direct to scaffold so I wouldn't even want to lift that much to be honest... I'm under 200kgs with each lift and that was plenty...for my application a really good compromise of safety and efficiency ... Cheers

  Well I hope it is a good as mine.... If it is for personal use (ie you know the bits to take care of) I can see it lasting a decent amount of time. I have to say for the price it is very good. Definitely recommend the Makita track to go with it...the Erbauer is good but if your cutting long lengths the Makita is worth the outlay. www.powertoolworld.co.uk/makita-199141-8-1-5m-guide-rail-for-use-with-sp6000-dsp600-other-saws you might find it cheaper if you shop around

  Hi...yes it does and so does the saw....I haven't used it yet but I'll take a look tomorrow and see how well it aligns when using Makita and Erbauer sections together. Just as an aside I have done loads of work with it now.... I think I am going to get another 1.5m Makita track and just use the Erbauer in single lengths for shorter work. There is a heck of a feel difference between the two makes....that's not to say the Erbauer isn't any good ...just the Makita has that more premium feel. But even spending £90 in 2 track sections and the cost of the original kit this is incredible value for money. I will say the plastic knobs on the saw feel a little cheap so it will be interesting to see how they hold up. But apart from that I couldn't be happier.

  Just a thought, You could use the 2m cargo webbing from Screwfix 4 of them for £24 And choke them. Save messing with them cables and all the same length, Easy to join together for wider objects.

  My wife just picked up one of these S/H for DIY tiling project - 350 $ Canadian Came with the side extension, which will be good for the large format 24" x 24" tiles I'm laying. What is is not clear however is how to the immersion pump is installed - the user manual simply states "The water immersion pump is mounted below the cutting surfaces on a special bracket", but gives no further detail. There is some kind of metal bracket with a slot in it on the underside but I cannot see how the pump attaches to it - maybe some part missing ? Still I suppose I could just lay the immersion pump loose in the water tray.

  Wish I'd done more research on this before my wife bought it. The seller told her it was suitable for large cutting 24" x 24" tiles, but the maximum cutting length is 21", which means you can't cut 24" tiles with the blade set at a fixed height. The only way to do it is with a plunge cut. To cut 24" tiles at a set height requires the Combi 250 VA model. Frustrating, but I should have looked at the specs.

  @@BryWorYT sorry missed the comment..... I find the plunge function works really well and I did the 2ft tiles in my downstairs cloakroom without any trouble. With regards to the pump... Under the main deck there is a bracket with a slot ..on the pump you can unscrew the plastic end with the filter (you can pull out the latticed section to clean it) and the pump slides into the cut out and the plastic screwing section of inlet on the pump pinches on to it.... Doesn't sound too clever but it works really well in practice.....

  It's done me really well. All concrete/lightweight blocks ...all the cement and tools have been lifted up to top level of scaffold without an issues for the whole job. It lifted the timber for the roof as well. . The hoist is now on the outside of the scaffold in the middle of a straight run so I can pull the pallet onto the scaffold. The caveat would be I am working on my own on private land so it's only me that I am directly responsible for but the winch and the pallet are 2 of the best financial/ back saving decisions I have made. It's now pulling up the roof tiles...😁

  @@bassmandudge I am looking at a private job too, got the winch, had it 5 years used 1st time last year as engine hoist under a scaffold gantry. I am planning doing my roof, planning similar to you with sides maybe to form a crate to take concrete tiles.

  @@core-element probably a good idea to have sides for tiles... I haven't put sides on it because I used it to also lift the cavity insulation sheets rather than try and manhandle them up the ladder..... So I wanted them to be able to carry over the edges... Hope it goes well for you...certainly the best tenner and hour of my life I have spent recently.... Mines been a life saver.

  That's not what most people call a continuous handrail as you're using newel posts. A continuous handrail will usually have wreaths. And please don't keep swaying that phone all over the place.

  Not had to do it yet...but this is from the manual; 1. Block axial movement of the cutting head by means of the handwheels (ref.L, fig.1). 2. Disassemble the front guard (ref.P, fig.1). 3. Loosen the locknut by rotating clockwise (left thread), using a 19 mm wrench. 4. Move the cutting head forward slightly and incline to remove the blade from its seat. 5. Ensure that there are no foreign objects between the fixing flange and diamond blade. During disassembly, avoid use of tools that could dent or deform the flange. 6. Insert the new blade proceeding in reverse order of the operation described at poin 4. Take special care to ensure correct direction of rotation of the diamond blade. 7. Tighten the blade locknut fully down by rotating anticlockwise (left thread), to a torque of 40 Nm.

  Hi...no in the end i prefer the Epson ones out of the 3...the actual materials are more comfortable..but tbh i still find them all ergonomically lacking. If my nose was a little less wide the Hi shocks were the most "glasses" like...but i had to remove the nose pieces, so ended up not as comfy as the Epsons. All three are usuable for the length of most movies. I am not sure the Epsons are worth the extra over the hi shocks for most peoples usage. I must look around again as I really do enjoy 3d when its done well.

  Hi I believe this is a legit site but do some research. www.humangear.net/productdetails-en/category/human-gear-effects/article/human-gear-animato.html As i understand it the original run was only 300 and then they did this re issue run..not sure if it is limited. It is a lot of money for distortion...BUT....if you mix it with a clean blend it is really good on bass. You can get close to the sound with a boss os2... but its not the same. Be aware that you lose a lot of bass end if you just use the pedal.on its own. They are hard to find used... it took me 2 years to find mine... good luck..

  Surprisingly quick for what they are.. if you were in and out of mottled trees in bright light it might struggle and would probably take about 10-15secs to darken /lighten... so not super quick. I like to use them when commuting here in the winter. We get low bright Sun in the mornings and my ride home is in the dark so for that use they are perfect. They go properly dark as well.

  Pretty good my friend I just posted my cover only difference is I have a animato clone ...,so run ehx into clone into prunes...then on amp 2 I run one big muff with multiplexer with sub off ...check it out when you have a chance and let me know how it sounds thanks.

  Hi I prefer the original Epson ones...I find them the most comfortable of the three... the hi Shock ones dont fit my nose as well so I removed the nose piece which helped them to sit more on my face rather than balanced on my nose but it made them more uncomfortable for longer movies. None of them fit like my glasses so they all feel a bit odd...I havent looked to see if there are new ones available...as I said in the video why they cant make s pair of these to fit like regular glasses is beyond me.
