  Need some info on what you used for a winch motor.

  I used the motor and gear box from one of these winches. Drilled a hole into the center of the metal shaft that comes in the tamiya kit that goes through the drum the same size of the shaft that comes off the gear box. Then I used JB weld put it in the hole and put them together. I also had to design and print a new end cap that held the motor in place that screwed onto the tamiya kit

  thanks for that quick and detailed reply! im just learning the details of the super scale world, but im a confident RC builder. im sure i can make it work with what you have given me already! i really like the small design of these motors. way better looking than just throwing a Warn up there!
