  My husband when he was a kid (21; we are well into our 40’s now) hit on her not knowing who she was (this was like 93-ish maybe 94) lol. He said she played with him - “awe look at this cute kid hitting on me” kinda deal 😂 (she’s only 4 years older but still). It sounds like a Gwen thing to do. He says she was actually pretty chill though and didn’t just tell him to F off.

  interesting. some of the songs performed here are before tragic kingdom was released on october 1995. beacon street was released on march 1995. dec 4, 1994 performance was ahead of its time with these songs. i guess being under the radar at the time, they didn’t have to consider timing public performances with when a release will be made and song rights.

  Oh, a GEM. Early 90s was pure gold. Any woman that could start a male mosh pit in her concert was IN the rock scene. She was one of the only ones. Paramore likely had plenty as well. Gwen, PJ Harvey, Concrete Blonde, Pat Benatar, Evanescence, Paramore, and just a few others - the few women that REALLY connected with rock and/or punk. When she married a country singer, I realized I didn't know a damn thing about this world.
