    are you still happy with this mower? I'm looking to buy one here in Australia, but its about $1,000 more then similar models. This one is 2.6k Its quite a small battery, I don't expect it to last as its being deep cycled so regularly. A guy on YT does a full breakdown of this vs a husqvarna and these are clearly built better. I'm struggling to find if I can make this cross a drive way to do separate zones. How do you find the app, and the UI? Have you since seen other mowers and had any regrets paying what would be top dollar for me here.

    I currently own an Robomow RS622, for about 1000 m^2 of gently sloping grass. It's 6-7 years old, and has been nothing but trouble from the start: 3 motors replaced, wheels replaced (not enough grip), front wheel replaced (bearing broken), perimiter drive unit replaced, perimeter wire sensor replaced, ... Lately it has trouble finding the perimeter signal (eventhough the circuit is sound at 17 Ohm, and I can hear it in an AM radio). Basically, it is not a reliable tool (that's an understatement) and the company doesn't give a shit, and I am looking to replace it. Looking at Ambrogio (L20 or 4.0), Stihl or Husqvarna. Leaning towards the Ambrogio's, any comment on the L20 Elite S+ vs 4.0 with a medium battery pack is appreciated.

    Hi Niels, great job there. I have one question if you can help me. I installed my base station right outside the lawn area. The lawn area is rectangular and the base station is at one of the corners (i can send you a drawing if you want). The problem i am having is with the wire coming from the back on the base station. The front wire is more than 2 meters straight going into the base. Can the back wire come around from the back of the base and to the the right side of the base and then turn to follow the perimeter? My robot follows the wire stright into the base, but when it gets close to the base if either drifts to the right or left (randomly) and in some cases does not go into the base. I am think there maybe some interfearance with the wire coming from the back. I hope i did not confuse you :) Thank you in advance.

    I will wait another five years to purchase. I GPS sensors sucks It just keeps going in circles. I need one that cut in a pattern path not just random cut and changes direction when it bumps into something. That's why it takes hours for the robot to do its job. 5 to 10 years should improve that problem. I will wait till tesla makes one. It might cost 30,000 but it will be efficient.

    Thats the American way I guess... As the prevoius post say, it's much healthier for your grass to mow it in random directions. But I know 2 robots who can mow "swinlines" and even chess boards. The Mammotion LUBA 2 AWD or the ECOVACS GOAT G1. I know the Luba does is, because my neighbor has is. His garden looks like a football filed with those straight lines.

    I think both brands have their pros and cons, i am a mechanic myself and i prefer the build and construction style and quality from the ambrogio over the machines from husqvarna. Husqvarna on the other side has some very strong possibility's too such as finding home, never had much issue's with the ambrogio vut i think husqvarna tackles this nicer. Its just personal prefference in that case. Overall the ambrogio is covering a lot more area and is more rugged than husqvarna. Price doesn't vary a lot if you compare apples to apples in terms of coverage. Like the stainles steel parts and screws, roller bearing wheels and of course the big solid blade from the ambrogio

    If you adjust the perimeter wires correctly you don't have to trim any more than you would if you were mowing with your standard gas mower. If you trim first; it will look great when Ambrogio is done for the day. Ambrogio is Miller Lite spelled backward.

    Hello, i sell ambrogio robotic mowers for about 10 years now and see what all improvements they made in the past years. I think every brand had their own problems and issues but overall such as build quality my opinion ambrogio is very good in building robots. What does your garden look like? Maybe consider L250 from ambrogio, why? Because they are very flexible in coverage capacity. And like the pivotting front wheels!

    @@nielsvandenakker1803 My grass yard is about 3.500 m2 and rather flat. However, an occasional small branch, some leaves of walnuts may fall on the grass and therefore the robot mower needs to be sturdy and robust. Not afraid of occasional debree. Therefore I am looking into the Ambrogio Elite Next Line 4.36.

  • @nielsvandenakker1803
    @nielsvandenakker18033 жыл бұрын

    @@wilfredrottier okay i get it. Just for the capcity the L250I Elite S+ would be enough. However the build quality on the 4.36 is just a little bit heavier so the would match your belongings more i guess on sturdyness. Have to say that the next line series are a bit more sensitive for small holes in the grass to fall in with a front wheel. But thats the only thing. And also a tip for your installation is to make a kind of hard driveway towards the charging station for about 2 or 3 meter in front of the base. Thats bacause it will turn itself every day on the same place to dock itself. After a while the grass will be not very nice in front bacause the quality brings a heavy weight with it also. If you have more questions pleas ask.

    Когда на нож возрастает нагрузка от высокой или густой травы, робот активирует спиральный режим кошения, т.к. он самый производительный при большой нагрузке. Робот доезжает до кабеля периметра и переезжает его до середины своего корпуса. Производительность этого робота около 1-1,5 соток в час и 2 часа автономной работы, т.е. за один выезд он окашивает 2-3 сотки. Производителем заложено, чтобы в течение дня он выезжал на кошение 2-3 раза. За 2-3 выезда робот сможет выкосить 4-6 соток. Это сделано, чтобы газон был занят роботом минимальное время, чтобы газоном могли пользоваться владельцы. Более бюджетные и простые роботы 1 час косят и 1 час заряжаются, а для окашивания 6 соток они должны работать с 0:00 по 23:59 - это прямо в инструкции прописано. Для большей площади нужно покупать более мощные роботы и, соответственно, более дорогие. У этого производителя ассортимент от 2 соток и 2 гектар. В ценовом сегменте 1000$ это лучшая модель!
