  I see the car is modified by way of rear disc brakes. Is the new case Nodular as was the original? Also original 3:91 and 4:30 cars came with Detroit Lockers that were always noisy. Very valuable rears nonetheless.

  Good Information. Thanks. I love those wheels, best ever factory Corvette wheels. The stock tire size on a 65 Corvette was 205/75-15. Can a wider lower profile tire fit without causing problems?

  I don't care if it came with it new or not. Who in their right mind puts a vinyl top BACK on? That's it , I'm going to put a wet rag on my roof just to rust it out, on purpose. Guaranteed to rust through in spots quicker than a slick top.

  I’ll never comprehend how these people never stop to think that phosphoric acid is something good to put on metal-esp a rare car’s body panels. It’s an acid- it is literally removing metal - both good and bad. Vinegar can help remove rust oxidation- but is still etching the good metal and grinding the shit off- 🤷🏼‍♂️
