This is probably the best tutorial I've ever watched. Concise, with simple explanations, every action is noted, no waffle. Thank you so much!

You add the quit at 11:29 for totally normal reasons, but I just wanted to say, I found out a week or so ago by accident, when a game is running, F8 ends it. Amazing how quick and clean this is, why arent all tutors like this in Godot.

Im a year late for the party but I finally was able to finish this tutorial. This is one of the rare godot finds, I learned so much and especially the resource based working will be handy in the future. Tank you so much for sharing your knowledge! Tips for finishing for people that are as bad as coding as I am: #1 slow the video down, I was able to follow it comfortably at half the speed and it made a huge difference #2 set up github, I dont think I would have finished it without as I somehow keep breaking projects

Very useful tutorial, indeed! Thanks a lot, gave me a few interesting ideas to work with. I have one question though, if I may. There is one thing that looks simple to me, but cannot figure out how it works at all. Say, the test inventory has an empty slot, that is, with no SlotData. How can I dynamically add a SlotData and assign it a given item_data and quantity? I have already set up everything to create an interaction, but no matter what, I cannot populate an empty slot of the test inventory with a fresh SlotData. I also cannot find the answer in your video either. Could you give me a hint or point me to the part of the video where the main code syntaxis should be? I would totally appreciate it. Cheers to an amazing display of knowledge about coding inventories! I've been struggling with mine for almost a month now and I cannot seem to get out of it, but small pieces of info like this help getting in the right direction!

Very nice video thanks a lot ! It could be very interesting to have a video with the other option to create a equip inventory by creating dedicated slot instead of reusing the inventory data. Because most of games don't put the equipment slot in a grid but around a character picture and here the whole system seems to be build around the concept of having a grid container.

Thank you for the instruction! It has been hard to find 3D character camera tutorials that have all the standard features. Question: when we rotate the model, I notice we are only rotation the armature node. Is there a quick way to rotate the entire thing besides the camera, i.e. the collision shape and any other objects outside of the armature node? Or would you have to code in the transformation for each one?
