hey, I have a question. I have wide feet and I am considering of buying this boot in the Mizuno Rebula 2 V1 made in Indonesia version for a really good price which beats the other Rebula models. I have questions regarding of the shoes lockdown, weight, comfort, etc and if you recommend these shoes for me to buy as the position I play is usually striker/midfielder and whether or not these shoes will fit me. Also I've heard that these shoes cause blisters for certain people, is this an issue that is so apparent that it causes blisters for everyone or just for specific foot types?. I really need help with this and I hope you can answer it!.

Hey mate. Valid question. Please don't take the following the wrong way! First of all and most importantly, there is no such thing as boots for position. All that crap is marketing by the big brands. Hypervenom/phantom venom/ t90 will NOT make you a better striker. Mercurial/X will not make you faster nor will it make you a better winger. It's all in the marketing don't buy into it! All other questions are answered in the video but if im honest, I do not recommend the rebula 2 over 1 or 3. If you can find the 1 or 3 at a good price buys those. Also re: blisters - I haven't had that issue with this boot but I can see how that can happen with the bulky tongue/fabric. I hope this helps!

I brought these boots, I have pretty much the same feet width as you and I was just wondering did they feel super tight when you first put them on in the mid foot ? Also will they stretch in the mid foot over time

Hey man...bad news. The mid foot wont stretch much but it is not as tight as it was at the start. The mid foot where the leather transitions into synthetic - this part was the killer but its not unbearable! give it time!

I have 1 suggestion. Shoe horn. They make you look like a fool but a dream when putting on your boots. With a shoe horn, no issues with getting these on. Without, you may struggle and your fingers may pay the price. 😬

Honestly not wide however, for me it's mostly the forefoot and the arch that matters. So if you are wide around the midfoot, find a store to try this on before purchasing!

sorry, another question about sizing - I got some MiJ Morelia II in 2015 and went true to size (UK7.5/JP26.5) as I was told they would stretch and 'mould to the shape of your foot" etc. Out of the box my toes were pushed right up to the end of the boot and even after a couple of games they were just too uncomfortable to play in so I sold them. Should I have gone up half a size or I should have given more time for the boot to stretch? Thinking about ordering some Neo 2 MIJ so want to make sure they fit properly this time!

Yikes. Okay firstly did u wear them into training and match straight away? With most boots I wear them around the house to see how they are and to stretch them out. But with these it should mould straight away. If you worn them for a couple of games and still didn't like them I'd say go half up. I like to have a bit of room in the toe so I always go half up with these! I hope this helps! 👍🏼

Hey man. Well it was more of let try and see what happens haha I was always getting half size up for all boots at that point so with this one I tried tts. Honestly u less you have like 3e width foot, you should be fine in tts. I have half a thumb left at the toe. Hope this helps!

Honestly, durability is an issue with all boots rn. the brands want you to hold onto a pair for 1 or 2 years max and then buy a new pair. As an example, this is why nike update their silos every 2 years and although adi & puma do it every year, their real update is also every 2 years. Even Mizuno started to remove their extra reinforcement screws from their mij boots! So I would suggest that when you buy a pair of boots you should keep in mind they will last you that season only. Just for peace of mind's sake!

If you have narrow feet, you should be fine in these in terms of getting into the boot! And I would recommend them as being a good pair if boots :) But ultimately comes down to what you want!

@@noah-ph9bc Well comfort 50/50 on these. Yes they are a comfy pair of "speed boots" but no there are more comfortable boots out there. Good touch and agility comes from the player ;). But again if you mean padded touch - these do provide that for a "speed boot". not sure what you mean by agility? If you are after all those features and you want a speed boot, look for leather speed boot options. Morelia Neo 2s are on sale at Unisport. Puma King is a great option. The current Nike Tiempos are more like mercurials with leather rather than a true leather boots. 3 great leather options :)

I haven't tried the latest puma ones, but definitely different feels. Its hard to explain but consider these to have more of a leather boot feels ( kinda obvious as these have more leather lol!) Only thing I can tell you is that it would be a difficult decision to choose between these and morelia neos!

@@bootbotreviews I think because of SR4U people are misinterpreting what ACC is... YES ACC IS BULL, but it's not the coating on Nike's cleats that are giving the waterproofing. ACC goes over the thin layer of Polyurethane (that gives the waterproofing) to supposedly give the same level of Control in ALL Conditions. It does not give the same level of grip but when I was how the water proofing is, that has nothing to do with ACC at all.

Hmm I see what you mean now but I feel like you're using the wrong term. Water proof means that they repel water. Now if you dip your boots in water, they will get wet. Which means that's not water proof. But you're right. Nike don't just slap on ACC and do nothing. They have done work on the boots. Unisport actually did an acc test few years back prooving that they do exist. Josh from sr4u questions that its so minimal yet they always sell it as if it is this revolutionary tech when all it is, is what you just explained here! Great boot knowledge man 👊🏼👊🏼

And I guess to answer your original question, they do have enough coating to stop water sipping into the boots to a point! Although the tongue area seems pretty exposed but I won't know for sure until I test them out!

Hey man. Look when it comes to ordering boots, it is about timing. You ca probably find them in christmas sales if you look hard enough but your sizes and colourway will be limited. My thought is that they will be heavily discounts everywhere after this month as X ghosted line up is due to drop around 1st october. I'd take my chances there but again, the longer you wait, the less you pay but fewer options. Unfortunately, if you have a colourway you like, you need to get it sooner rather than later. I hope this helps!

these look really nice but i hope they fit my wide feet as well as yours and dont give me cramps. I have just bought the Future 5.1 (waiting for your review on those too!) and they are wide on the toes but surprisingly narrow on the mid foot and gives me some cramps. Maybe as i use more they would mold better and reduce the cramps. So im not hopeful at all that the Ultras will fit me at all :(

I wonder why you get cramps? Especially in the futures. Do you have like a fall back pair? A pair you know are comfortable and won't give you cramps. Try wearing those for a bit and if you get cramps again, it might be something else not the boots!

@@bootbotreviews yes i do have fall back pairs. They are the Vigor 1 and Phantom Venom Elite and i have no problem with these two at all. That's why it's weird to me as well that I am having cramps with the futures, even after lacing them up as wide as possible. I am guessing maybe i need to get a few games in to break-in the futures. currently i am just using it for light training.

@@bootbotreviews actually i might have an idea to why. as I have the low cut variance of the Future 5.1, it seems the EvoKnit is too restrictive as compared to Vigor 1 and Venom. It's very low in profile and the knit extends further back than those 2 mentioned. I guess i just have to keep using it until the knit is more stretched and seasoned.

Haha you picked up on my cheeky attempt! Yeah its a real shame they got rid of the one line but at the same time, I think they pretty much killed the silo when they dropped the King platinum. Which imo is the best leather speed boot on the market ( and i haven't tried the mizuno morelia neo 3 beta yet so we'll see if king can retain that title!)

Look, unfortunately, with wide feet, that small split is something we have to live with, in my opinion. I only have a handful of boots where I never had that issue. Puma king platinum and Morelia neo 2 MIJ both fall into that criteria. Copa 19+ unfortunately also suffered that separation but not saying there is a durability issue as they are still perfectly intact to this day! Build quality tho I'd say king > copa. If you are after a leather boot that feels and performs like a speed boot, king is the next best thing after the MIJ neos imo!

I'd imagine they are sold in the states only. In au ag surfaces are only just starting to pick up. In Melbourne there are only 5 pitches that are ag. 2 of which I regularly play on. So ag was the right option at the time of purchase!

Again, it really comes down to preference. Objectively, 19.1 is probably the best. Followed by 18.1. In regards to the laceless models, 19+ is better than the 18+

Hey man. The colourway would be impossible to find tbh. Best luck is ebay. I've not tried the 19.1 as I've been told they are very similar to the 18.1 but it really depends on what you are after. Objectively, .1s are the better boot as it has a lacing system.

Okay so phantom vsn 2 I didnt get because I didnt like the van 1. 5.1 futures are on the way but I have tried on my friends pair for like 20 minutes and I must say they are comfortable af! It will come down to what you prefer in your boots? If you let me know I can direct you to the right boot!

In that case future's will give you comfort but it won't be as snug. Although this can be adjusted a little with their netfit. But not much on the 5.1. Preds will give you a somewhat snug fit and once broken in, comfort. I've got a pair of future 5.1s on the way and will post first impressions video so you can wait for that if you like? But either one will give you a little of each. If you want comfort and snug I would suggest puma king platinum. Might need to give it a little time to mould but once they do, you'll get both comfort and snug fit. Leather mercurial in my eyes!

No. For my taste it's rebula 3 > neo > king. For what you said you'd like. I reckon king or neo would be best. Rebula 3 will not give you a snug fit as much as the other 2.

I've noticed higher quality intro, video editing and overall presentation skills! I see you have leveled up whilst away! Anyway for this model I have heard that the HG model has a more accommodating midfoot. Which is interesting to me as I love the fins but I had cramps with the 18.1 FG and the 20.1 FG would probably give me them cramps again.

I dont have access to them here is AU. But I know they go up on sale in Asia. I'll have to see if i can get my hands on one. With the cramping issue, these feel very different to the 18.1s. Lucky for you I have worn the 18.1s and 20.1 s and I can confirm they are different in terms of the feel. But as always, I'd advise trying on a pair before any purchase!

They have incorporated what seems to be the rising sun flag. Which a lot of people do not know due to its usage in modern fashion. Very different from the Neos but more comfortable. It fits very snug but after 15mins of warming up it now feels like I've worn it for years...can't wait to get more games for it!

hey, I have a question. I have wide feet and I am considering of buying this boot in the Mizuno Rebula 2 V1 made in Indonesia version for a really good price which beats the other Rebula models. I have questions regarding of the shoes lockdown, weight, comfort, etc and if you recommend these shoes for me to buy as the position I play is usually striker/midfielder and whether or not these shoes will fit me. Also I've heard that these shoes cause blisters for certain people, is this an issue that is so apparent that it causes blisters for everyone or just for specific foot types?. I really need help with this and I hope you can answer it!.
Hey mate. Valid question. Please don't take the following the wrong way! First of all and most importantly, there is no such thing as boots for position. All that crap is marketing by the big brands. Hypervenom/phantom venom/ t90 will NOT make you a better striker. Mercurial/X will not make you faster nor will it make you a better winger. It's all in the marketing don't buy into it! All other questions are answered in the video but if im honest, I do not recommend the rebula 2 over 1 or 3. If you can find the 1 or 3 at a good price buys those. Also re: blisters - I haven't had that issue with this boot but I can see how that can happen with the bulky tongue/fabric. I hope this helps!
I brought these boots, I have pretty much the same feet width as you and I was just wondering did they feel super tight when you first put them on in the mid foot ? Also will they stretch in the mid foot over time
Hey man...bad news. The mid foot wont stretch much but it is not as tight as it was at the start. The mid foot where the leather transitions into synthetic - this part was the killer but its not unbearable! give it time!
How are getting these on? I also have a high arch and find a lot of knitted tongues hard to slide on, but once they are on they are really comfy and have a better lockdown.
I have 1 suggestion. Shoe horn. They make you look like a fool but a dream when putting on your boots. With a shoe horn, no issues with getting these on. Without, you may struggle and your fingers may pay the price. 😬

Honestly not wide however, for me it's mostly the forefoot and the arch that matters. So if you are wide around the midfoot, find a store to try this on before purchasing!

Again no they are perfectly fine. She did not tear and nothing has happened to her. She just matured and is now in the shape of my foot.

sorry, another question about sizing - I got some MiJ Morelia II in 2015 and went true to size (UK7.5/JP26.5) as I was told they would stretch and 'mould to the shape of your foot" etc. Out of the box my toes were pushed right up to the end of the boot and even after a couple of games they were just too uncomfortable to play in so I sold them. Should I have gone up half a size or I should have given more time for the boot to stretch? Thinking about ordering some Neo 2 MIJ so want to make sure they fit properly this time!
Yikes. Okay firstly did u wear them into training and match straight away? With most boots I wear them around the house to see how they are and to stretch them out. But with these it should mould straight away. If you worn them for a couple of games and still didn't like them I'd say go half up. I like to have a bit of room in the toe so I always go half up with these! I hope this helps! 👍🏼

Hey man. Well it was more of let try and see what happens haha I was always getting half size up for all boots at that point so with this one I tried tts. Honestly u less you have like 3e width foot, you should be fine in tts. I have half a thumb left at the toe. Hope this helps!

Honestly, durability is an issue with all boots rn. the brands want you to hold onto a pair for 1 or 2 years max and then buy a new pair. As an example, this is why nike update their silos every 2 years and although adi & puma do it every year, their real update is also every 2 years. Even Mizuno started to remove their extra reinforcement screws from their mij boots! So I would suggest that when you buy a pair of boots you should keep in mind they will last you that season only. Just for peace of mind's sake!

If you have narrow feet, you should be fine in these in terms of getting into the boot! And I would recommend them as being a good pair if boots :) But ultimately comes down to what you want!

@@noah-ph9bc Well comfort 50/50 on these. Yes they are a comfy pair of "speed boots" but no there are more comfortable boots out there. Good touch and agility comes from the player ;). But again if you mean padded touch - these do provide that for a "speed boot". not sure what you mean by agility? If you are after all those features and you want a speed boot, look for leather speed boot options. Morelia Neo 2s are on sale at Unisport. Puma King is a great option. The current Nike Tiempos are more like mercurials with leather rather than a true leather boots. 3 great leather options :)

I haven't tried the latest puma ones, but definitely different feels. Its hard to explain but consider these to have more of a leather boot feels ( kinda obvious as these have more leather lol!) Only thing I can tell you is that it would be a difficult decision to choose between these and morelia neos!

Hmm no would be my answer. No boots are waterproof! If you are referring to acc its really a load of bull :)
@@bootbotreviews I think because of SR4U people are misinterpreting what ACC is... YES ACC IS BULL, but it's not the coating on Nike's cleats that are giving the waterproofing. ACC goes over the thin layer of Polyurethane (that gives the waterproofing) to supposedly give the same level of Control in ALL Conditions. It does not give the same level of grip but when I was how the water proofing is, that has nothing to do with ACC at all.
Hmm I see what you mean now but I feel like you're using the wrong term. Water proof means that they repel water. Now if you dip your boots in water, they will get wet. Which means that's not water proof. But you're right. Nike don't just slap on ACC and do nothing. They have done work on the boots. Unisport actually did an acc test few years back prooving that they do exist. Josh from sr4u questions that its so minimal yet they always sell it as if it is this revolutionary tech when all it is, is what you just explained here! Great boot knowledge man 👊🏼👊🏼
And I guess to answer your original question, they do have enough coating to stop water sipping into the boots to a point! Although the tongue area seems pretty exposed but I won't know for sure until I test them out!

Hey man. Look when it comes to ordering boots, it is about timing. You ca probably find them in christmas sales if you look hard enough but your sizes and colourway will be limited. My thought is that they will be heavily discounts everywhere after this month as X ghosted line up is due to drop around 1st october. I'd take my chances there but again, the longer you wait, the less you pay but fewer options. Unfortunately, if you have a colourway you like, you need to get it sooner rather than later. I hope this helps!

these look really nice but i hope they fit my wide feet as well as yours and dont give me cramps. I have just bought the Future 5.1 (waiting for your review on those too!) and they are wide on the toes but surprisingly narrow on the mid foot and gives me some cramps. Maybe as i use more they would mold better and reduce the cramps. So im not hopeful at all that the Ultras will fit me at all :(
I wonder why you get cramps? Especially in the futures. Do you have like a fall back pair? A pair you know are comfortable and won't give you cramps. Try wearing those for a bit and if you get cramps again, it might be something else not the boots!
@@bootbotreviews yes i do have fall back pairs. They are the Vigor 1 and Phantom Venom Elite and i have no problem with these two at all. That's why it's weird to me as well that I am having cramps with the futures, even after lacing them up as wide as possible. I am guessing maybe i need to get a few games in to break-in the futures. currently i am just using it for light training.

@@bootbotreviews actually i might have an idea to why. as I have the low cut variance of the Future 5.1, it seems the EvoKnit is too restrictive as compared to Vigor 1 and Venom. It's very low in profile and the knit extends further back than those 2 mentioned. I guess i just have to keep using it until the knit is more stretched and seasoned.

Haha you picked up on my cheeky attempt! Yeah its a real shame they got rid of the one line but at the same time, I think they pretty much killed the silo when they dropped the King platinum. Which imo is the best leather speed boot on the market ( and i haven't tried the mizuno morelia neo 3 beta yet so we'll see if king can retain that title!)

I think the Grip Control Pro is that little area just around the toe. To me it's probably not in the right spot, but otherwise I love the look of that boot. Streaks are a cool touch!

I really thought about this and it really depends on the day! But right now, I'd go for the preds! The x is a very thin speed boot. It has its perks but I'd prefer something with more padding and grip.
How is durability for Copa compared with puma king platinum? My mizuno Morelia neo 2 made in Indonesia only two games already had small split between leather and sole plate .......
Look, unfortunately, with wide feet, that small split is something we have to live with, in my opinion. I only have a handful of boots where I never had that issue. Puma king platinum and Morelia neo 2 MIJ both fall into that criteria. Copa 19+ unfortunately also suffered that separation but not saying there is a durability issue as they are still perfectly intact to this day! Build quality tho I'd say king > copa. If you are after a leather boot that feels and performs like a speed boot, king is the next best thing after the MIJ neos imo!

There Multiground studs for artificial ground and dry hard grass pitches.
I'd imagine they are sold in the states only. In au ag surfaces are only just starting to pick up. In Melbourne there are only 5 pitches that are ag. 2 of which I regularly play on. So ag was the right option at the time of purchase!

Again, it really comes down to preference. Objectively, 19.1 is probably the best. Followed by 18.1. In regards to the laceless models, 19+ is better than the 18+

Hey man. The colourway would be impossible to find tbh. Best luck is ebay. I've not tried the 19.1 as I've been told they are very similar to the 18.1 but it really depends on what you are after. Objectively, .1s are the better boot as it has a lacing system.

Okay so phantom vsn 2 I didnt get because I didnt like the van 1. 5.1 futures are on the way but I have tried on my friends pair for like 20 minutes and I must say they are comfortable af! It will come down to what you prefer in your boots? If you let me know I can direct you to the right boot!

In that case future's will give you comfort but it won't be as snug. Although this can be adjusted a little with their netfit. But not much on the 5.1. Preds will give you a somewhat snug fit and once broken in, comfort. I've got a pair of future 5.1s on the way and will post first impressions video so you can wait for that if you like? But either one will give you a little of each. If you want comfort and snug I would suggest puma king platinum. Might need to give it a little time to mould but once they do, you'll get both comfort and snug fit. Leather mercurial in my eyes!

No. For my taste it's rebula 3 > neo > king. For what you said you'd like. I reckon king or neo would be best. Rebula 3 will not give you a snug fit as much as the other 2.

I've noticed higher quality intro, video editing and overall presentation skills! I see you have leveled up whilst away! Anyway for this model I have heard that the HG model has a more accommodating midfoot. Which is interesting to me as I love the fins but I had cramps with the 18.1 FG and the 20.1 FG would probably give me them cramps again.

I dont have access to them here is AU. But I know they go up on sale in Asia. I'll have to see if i can get my hands on one. With the cramping issue, these feel very different to the 18.1s. Lucky for you I have worn the 18.1s and 20.1 s and I can confirm they are different in terms of the feel. But as always, I'd advise trying on a pair before any purchase!

They have incorporated what seems to be the rising sun flag. Which a lot of people do not know due to its usage in modern fashion.
