Love him! Does anyone know how you get thick and thin paint? Do they come that way, or do you do something to the paint? 🤔
@@claraclown8036 we are having a workshop on Aug 10th and we will go over that. We’ll show you how to adjust any paint to work for this technique. If you are interested email me at [email protected]
fond memories thanks for posting
Fire In! NO MERCY!!!
As a former Alexander Art certified instructor, I can personally speak to how talented Bill Alexander was. He was an incredible teacher and an even better person. He wanted to teach everyone to paint. It was an absolute privilege to personally witness his skill and love of teaching and painting.

Love this 🥰🎨
This is a beautiful painting. It shows how powerful is this man with such variety of colors. He does'nt stop surprising us.
I love watching you 🥰🎨
It is so beautiful that takes my breath away. 😍😍
I graduated from high school in 1976. I'm 66 years old, now, and I distinctly recall seeing Bill's shows on KOCE in the early 1970's. I attended an event in Huntington Beach where Bill spoke in-person, and it inspired me to buy supplies and try painting. I gave it up a long time ago, but this KZread might just inspire me to try again.
The Three Pyramids Peaks.
Genial. Un verdadero maestro.
Amazing. What talent!
Pull and twist looks so easy in your hand but I tried to paint some blue poppies blossoms yesterday and paint was either melting too fast into the background or getting too sticky too fast...🤣 Still love how they look, though was room for many-many more improvements! 🤣 Forgot to mention i use acrylic because oil is too expensive for me to use just for hobby...
I've noticed the shows have different lengths of 30, 45, and 60 minutes. Were the show's length 60 and edited down to 30 or the show's length was increased over the several seasons?
Noah the shows that are longer were recorded for video not for PBS.
I see allmighty Bill and I click
I love Bill. He is a nice Pal. No mercy, no fear. Creative and exciting.
Excellent video. Love it, as I do all of them. Could you kindly list the names of the colors used by Bill. Thanks very much. By the way. I love Bill's talking while he paints.
Let's enjoy this beautiful evening. The Best imagination painting ever 🤗🎨🍀
GORGEOUS PAINTING! The way you twist those brushes is unreal!!!
Thank you for watching.
This guy is an illusionist. I know, he is not with us, yet I feel him present through his wonderfull art. Liked this one a lot. It's marvelous.
Fantastic!!!!!!!!! Thanks a lot!
You are welcome. Thank you for watching.
He is a Master. Specially on detailing that water stream rushing down with force and beauty. Love it. Love his mountains, trees and bushes, everything.
“I pull it in because I know what I’m doing here… roughly pull it.”- bill was and is the best ever!!!! Love painting his lessons best I can.
loved the flowers and foliage. Thank you!
Thank you for your comment and thanks for watching our tutorials.
Beautiful, but how can you be sure of the colors wearing those dark glasses?
He makes it look so easy.
I love watching Buck paint, hes such a sharp wit along with that personality - initially when I used to watch it always felt scatty but I really admire the details during the journey of the piece, its a amazing when all the little details come together. Thanks BucK! - love from the UK.
It took him 30 minutes to finish that painting.
Does he sell those paintings? And if yes, how much.
Can't see the leaves, it's too dark.
He is the best how he plays with colors and stuff. Not monotonous not repetitive.
Thank you for your comment and thanks for watching.
You have to be careful using oils over a spray fixative. Oils won’t adhere to fixative.
I miss Bill so much..😢😢
We do too! Thanks for watching and helping us keep his legacy alive.

@@mariachrysou-hh9to You are welcome. Thank you for watching.
Why they make him stop!😢
Originally these shows were created for television. His time slot was a half hour. With commercials added in he only had 27:30 minutes.
I'm overwhelmed. It is so beautiful. Pure enchantment.
Thank you very much.
Extremely blurry…hard to watch !
