as someone who enjoyed verisimilitude a lot, you can imagine that i was pretty hyped when i saw this in my feed after hearing the long awaited spider dance. here we go... the start sounds great, building up the music very nicely. it took me a bit to realise what was off, and the music is slower than the original, which i'm not sure i'm a fan of? it sounds less threatening is the vibe i'm getting from the change, which i really liked about the og- though it does makes it better music in background i suppose. the instruments are definitely used better though, especially the guitar is on TOP in this one, and i'm loooving it. i'm not sure if i like it more than the original, the speed change is strange to me, but it is definitely of greater quality! i'll definitely listen to this more in the future, thanks for the great musics :D

very good! the beginning sounded weird- but the good, mysterious kind of weird- and ultimately slowing down the music was a really good decision, making it sound less chaotic and more powerful. especially loved 2:37 going wild after the quiet bit, great job!

the beginning was admittedly a bit rough (is it me or the sound quality wasn't great?), but after that at the 50 second mark... holy shit it gets SO GOOD. until the very end, every part from here sounds amazing, the guitar in background fucking rocks, the more quiet part has an amazing melody... i won't ramble on the good bits for too long XD congrats on this one! and by all means, take your sweet time for spider dance and your next projects. i'd say i can't wait, but i will!

In the beginning, it might just be that it's a little too busy. Also, my mixing has possibly gotten worse, for as of late I am not able to use the studio-grade headphones I had (nothing grand but it was a lot better for making music than my current pair is). It honestly really may just be whatever device you're using to listen to this, because this sounds noticeably different on my earbuds than in my headphones, so. Mixing is complex to me too, so there's that. Unless you mean how it's very 8-bit sounding then that's intentional, but I don't know. I'm just going to assume it's device difference and just my overall lack of mixing and mastering skill. And thank you :D This is one of the few in a while that I've felt genuinely proud of, and using guitar is very new to me (I literally got the guitar plugin last night) and I'm pretty glad that I was able to make a pretty cool riff. Spider Dance may be a while, I like to take a couple or a few days break after releasing a song, I only have a limited amount of brain juice.

@@spode9047 I do realize it is pretty busy, a common mistake I make is using almost every instrument in the orchestra at once which cause that business, at least when there's too many different parts. I don't know why I keep making that mistake nor fix it, it's just that it sounds fine to me, and I'm just trying to create that big symphonic sound I want to make. The second time the little orchestral part came in, it sounded less busy because I removed some instruments so the guitar wouldn't be drowned out and such. Anyways, thank you, and I'm sure I will enjoy it.
