  Thankfully they had a second drummer in case he bolted. He was a heck of a drummer but a head case. When Cream and Traffic disbanded, Clapton and Winwood got together to form Blind Faith but didn’t tell Ginger Baker about their plans because he was a lunatic and they were afraid of him. The story goes that somehow he found out about it and showed up at Winwood’s cottage, sat behind Jim Capaldi’s drum kit and that was that. They were too afraid to tell him they didn’t want him in the band. Baker’s blow ups in the studio doomed the band from the start. They created one tremendous self titled album. Went on one US tour and broke up before the band even returned to the UK. Ginger Baker was a tremendous drummer and out of control crazy man at the same time.   🤔….oh my, look carefully - there are 3 guitars on that stage not being played! - no wonder it sounds horrible. I’m sure they could have pulled 3 guitarists out of the audience to help out.

  Baker always the pre-made Donna, can’t even keep time without loosing his shit! Jack wrote this tune ,played base ,sang it ! probably the one that asked Baker to down beat on the 1+3 ! Ginger Baker was so delusional he kept repeating cream were actually a jazz band, Baker so lucky to fall into 2 of the best musos in England Eric +Jack .

  4 guitars, 2 horns and a flute, 2 lead singers, 2 girls singing background, 2 drummers. All I can say is good on Ginger. Who wouldn't want to walk out on that.
