It should be in the Sonar menu, unless the transducer doesn’t support it, or if you maybe have a CV instead of SV. Otherwise it should be there.

It took me several hours and even more missed fish to start getting the hang of the chatterbait. I have a medium heavy fast action rod and I had to learn to give it that extra time especially with the braided to leader that I use before I set the hook. Its my favorite thing to catch them on. I just started fishing last year and I'm so happy I finally took the time to learn how it feels when its banging off stuff and whats an actual bite.

I think Chris Zaldain made a clear call. No one’s entitled to the water but yet, somehow common courtesy wasn’t given all when the other guy started chirping away. You talked about Zaldain being entitled, but let’s not forget that the locals also feel the same way because it’s “their local lake.” I can’t imagine how many times I, as a weekend angler (using your terminology), pulled up to a new body of waters and have been told off practically not to fish “their” spots by their verbal and body language. It’s also a big giveaway that since that other guy started chirping away, he wouldn’t have left even if Zaldain had asked. By responding back to Zaldain with verbal aggression shows how big his ego is. He could have simply handled it “professionally” as well. To “professionally” handle situations isn’t limited to professionals. So, you’re wrong in understanding professionalism because you’re simply attacking Chris Zaldain from the very moment of his error while lacking the same discernment for the other guys. I’ve read about just every other comment here too and they all could care less about being able “professional” but are verbally aggressive about how they would threaten their way about it on the waters too. You may have backed off but most people won’t, because they’re very full of themselves.

I watched several videos on this subject and it looked like Chris was totally wrong. The video looked like he not only blew in but came in between them on the point and the bank. They might have been two casts away from the bank but still you don’t do that. In my book that is called cutting someone off! If Chris had came in on the backside slowly and asked them if they didn’t mind him fishing. To me it looked disrespectful . I would have gladly gave him the spot providing he had approached me correctly.

😊Chris was in the wrong period I'm almost 60 yrs old and I'm sick and tired of this crap. These pro fisherman are a bunch of of arrogant a holes they think they own the water and they think they are entirely entitled to the whole lake. It's just disgusting, and I gotta tell most of them are like that. I would never go fishing with any of those Moran's they don't know how to treat people and it's because of money. I mean they think they are movie stars. And the bottom line there just terrible people all these guys care about is themselves. I'm sorry to you other angler's but I have lost all respect for these idiots. They think they are better than everyone it's a joke . Pathetic I use to have so much respect for them. But that's over you don't roll up to people on the water and basically demand your spot that you worked hard and put in the time to know that their are fish there. And it doesn't matter your fishing for one hundred thousand dollars. These guys got some nerve talking about how to be on the water 💦. When they don't practice it. You know who is another jerk Jacob Wheeler, Scott Martin I could go on and on it's ridiculous the terrible attitude s that these guys have. Oh your a weekend angler you don't deserve to fish at this spot. If Chris would have done that to me I would have drove beside his boat jumped on and grabbed him and threw him in the water. That's the only way to teach them. And I'm just the person who can do it I'm 6 foot 2 and 300 pounds. I just can't stand there attitude s.

So we call your normal everyday fisherman "Weekend Anglers" now? I'm more insulted by that than the topic at hand. "Weekend Anglers" are your demographic on this platform. Actually, I have no idea if that is a derogatory term, but it sure sounds Anglerist to me😂 Personally I don't give 2 flying ducks about your fancy sponsored set up and tourneys, if and ANY Angler is there first then tough luck buddy, go do your JOB and find fish. That's the job right? A tourney Angler definitely doesn't have the right to a locals spot (or any early birds spot), they most likely only know of the spot because of another local with loose lips at some point in history.

Well, there are many anglers who call themselves pros who aren’t. If one is in the minor league of baseball are they a pro baseball player? That’s why they call it the “big show”. What am I then? I fish four days of the week? I simply call my self a fisherman. Chris was wrong, his attitude was wrong, for the internet to take his side and vilify an angler who was already on his spot is ludicrous. Personally, if it were me. I wouldn’t have said anything first. I would have let my pencil popper do the talking by casting at him until he got the message….better to have more lighting in the hand than thunder in the mouth.
