It’s not a button lock though it’s a liner lock with a button to engage and drop that liner lock 🔥

Using lubrication on an OTF can help or cause more problems. The oil you choose needs to be of high purity, just like the old-school Hops oil for guns. New modern oil becomes gunky after a while and can cause your knife to hiccup and malfunction. But as long as you keep your knife clean, you shouldn't have a problem. It's polished metal riding on metal pushed by a spring. It naturally will have little friction, just like our beloved 1911, with metal running on a track.

No springs involved, it seem pretty easy to take apart only has a couple of screws on the handle.

I was so covered in glass, and my HOA sent me a complaint as I was filming about the mess. I will shot a short video of me using the brass knuckles soon. Might take a trip to the junk yard.

Bro your knives are the SHIZ! I have 3 mtu15s, and four different box cutters including the new long handled boxcutter. You build the best man. I treat my gray wharnchliffe mtu15 like it dissed my mom and it has taken the abuse and maintained that strong edge. Your stuff is the amazing quality I am just grateful I got in early before these suckers are 400 dollar knives, coz they perform like 400 dollar knives. Just got the Cali compliant stubby, and the cool factor along with the capability and legality may make this my favorite edc knife. Thank you!!a

Haha, I just finished watching Reacher. One of the guys had an OTF, and it got me thinking. My go-to rule for EDC self-defense is to keep it simple, with minimal moving parts and quick deployment.
