Sympa le retour Tavish ! 😀 Le stab de 230 te bride à mort, c'est sûr. Avec un stab de 145 et ta 750 complètement à l'arrière du box tu devrais être capable de taper les 25 noeuds dans du vent. Sinon, passe sur un 560 ! C'est mon foil unique, il a une super plage basse. ça vole dans 11-15 noeuds avec une bonne technique et là tu dépasseras même les ailerons ;-) (Par contre c'est une navigation vachement + engagée, full straps, harnais et surtoilé, et tu retrouveras les mêmes sensations qu'en windfoil slalom ;-) )

Cool de voir que t as bien progressé en wing! J ai le même parcours que toi et depuis peu en foil AFS Pure 700 (ton prochain foil je pense..😉) , je retrouve enfin ce qui me manquait; la speed! Et avec un engin 10x plus joueur qu'en windfoil et qui rentre dans une Tesla vs fourgon👌😉 Bye!

Alors oui possible. J’ai les ailes 950 performer (couteau suisse des 12 nds établis) et la 750 que j’adore aussi Par contre je sais pas si c’est le stab performer 230 qui me bride mais j’ai quasi pas de gap de vitesse entre la 1250 et la 750 … un peu frustrant. J’aimerai bien taper les 25 noeuds et plus dans un futur proche … Tu atteins quoi avec ta pure 700 ?? Sinon oui sans commune mesure niveau encombrement. J’ai vendu tout mon matos de Windsurf et windfoill 😝

@@EverRider J ai switché sur la wing l année dernière après une opération du dos.. et en fait j'ai carrément accroché aussi! J'ai débuté en Performer 1450 mât 85cm (76kg) puis en 950 et c est vrai qu en vmax je gagnais que 2/3 nds et plafonnait à 20nds. Cet hiver, passage sur la Pure 900 et mât 97cm, je plafonne à 22 nds sur mes lacs alpins mais j ai gagné en accéléreration, en glide et contrôle à haut régime vs Perfomer. La Pure 900 est devenue mon aile unique, je décolle à 12 nds en m'arrachant mais une fois en l air la vitesse et le glide change tout. Dans mon objectif freerace (encore un peu frustré) je viens juste de m'acheter la 700. Baptisée juste hier, j ai adoré!!! 22 nds sans chercher la vmax, dans 10/15 nds malgré le mauvais réglages du foil dans le boitier. Je décollais dans une rafale à 14 nds. Le gars qui l avait, tapait les 28 nds en Vmax🤙. Prochaine étape le Pure 560 ou un chubanga🔥

Le RS 230 sur la Performer 750 est démesuré je pense. Sur la Pure 900 et la 700 je mets le stab Pure surf 150 ou Pure 145. Tu devrais gagner 2 nds en Vmax mais surtout être plus stable à haut régime et bcp plus maniable qu avec le stab Performer.

Avec le Pure 145 ou le surf 150, pour 150€ tu changes carrément de foil, 1ere fois que je constate autant de # entre 2 stabs sur le même foil. Le 145 mode cap/race et le Surf dès qu il y a un peu de clapot pour jiber sans fin, tu tournes sur place et ça carve fort c est excellent! Même Vmax entre les 2 stabs mais plus facile de tenir ta vitesse avec le 145, plus verrouillé en roulis et tangage.

Hey mark, thanks for your comment, I'm doing well and planing to get back on water in few days/weeks depending on the weather ! :) I will be posting soon new content and can't wait for that ! I broke my LCA (knee) during a Padel tournament (mix of tennis/squash), Broke it in July 2023 so i've not been doing any kind of sports except kine since that ... I miss so much riding but it will be solved very soon now and i cant wait for that ! :D Thanks for your support <3

Hey man, Thanks for your interest, Unfortunatly i broke my knee joints and have been on a surgery… I’m folowing a reeducation process and wont be on water untill spring 2024 😓😓😓 Cant wait to be on water again and post videos ! :)

Good luck and have fun during this wonderful event ! I was riding my 4,0 for 82 kg 😅 Gybes mark are a nightmare considérons the chop others are creating. You’ll notice by yourself haha. Warning at the start. Others covering your wind and the wind felt can be 12 knots then 30 on the course then 40 at the first mark lol

Dépends what you prefer. In terms of pure speed for the moment windsurf foiling is faster. But requires à ton of practice and settings. WinG is easier to learn, more compact, cheapier, lighter… and a lot of fun with many moves to learn. In my opninon winG is « future » and even in terms of speed there are more and more guys getting at 30 knots .. so .. Windsurf foiling is more locked on straights runs. And more difficult to adjust the run. Or to control when overpowered. My 5,5 wing can do 8-12 knots but also 15-25 knots … For me winging is the best choice. Also windsurf foiling very hard in swells

@@EverRider thanks for advice. in my opinion if i gonna buy wing i need atleast 7.0 wing because i think i need more power to learn and i can depower it easily by opening it. but i was thinking about windsurfing with foil also because more speed and so on :) cant realy decide what to chose :) its only my second year of windsurfing and my max speed is 44.44 kilometer/hour. past two months all i do is learning jibe but i was like 3-4 times on the water because of conditions that i have :) but also good thing with wingfoiling that is very compact compairing with windsurfing(sails,masts,boom, harness, fins, baseplates and so on :D ).

Nice velocity on the water. I have done speed surfing at similar conditions on a fjord in Denmark, reached 30 knots. You will avoid the water starts with a longer board.

J’aurais dû j’aurais dû …! Si c’était que du travers ou du slalom la 730 allait bien. Mais pour tout ce cap et downwind il me fallait plus gros. Que ce soit voile planche ou aile :)

Good luck and have fun during this wonderful event ! I was riding my 4,0 for 82 kg 😅 Gybes mark are a nightmare considérons the chop others are creating. You’ll notice by yourself haha. Warning at the start. Others covering your wind and the wind felt can be 12 knots then 30 on the course then 40 at the first mark lol

Hi. What do you prefer more wing foiling or windsurf foiling? I am currently windsurfing on fin but on my location if i wanna spend more time on water i need foil. Whats your opinion? Should i buy wing or foil?
Dépends what you prefer. In terms of pure speed for the moment windsurf foiling is faster. But requires à ton of practice and settings. WinG is easier to learn, more compact, cheapier, lighter… and a lot of fun with many moves to learn. In my opninon winG is « future » and even in terms of speed there are more and more guys getting at 30 knots .. so .. Windsurf foiling is more locked on straights runs. And more difficult to adjust the run. Or to control when overpowered. My 5,5 wing can do 8-12 knots but also 15-25 knots … For me winging is the best choice. Also windsurf foiling very hard in swells
@@EverRider thanks for advice. in my opinion if i gonna buy wing i need atleast 7.0 wing because i think i need more power to learn and i can depower it easily by opening it. but i was thinking about windsurfing with foil also because more speed and so on :) cant realy decide what to chose :) its only my second year of windsurfing and my max speed is 44.44 kilometer/hour. past two months all i do is learning jibe but i was like 3-4 times on the water because of conditions that i have :) but also good thing with wingfoiling that is very compact compairing with windsurfing(sails,masts,boom, harness, fins, baseplates and so on :D ).

Small sail and board is much fun. Love the windsurf in strong winds.
Nice velocity on the water. I have done speed surfing at similar conditions on a fjord in Denmark, reached 30 knots. You will avoid the water starts with a longer board.

Bonjour, intéressant de voir que l'on peut aller aussi vite voir plus vite avec une voile freeride qu'avec des voiles à cambers qui sont en plus de surface plus grande ! La performance du foil y est aussi sans doute pour quelque chose. Cdlt

Sympa 😁😁, j'allais justement te demander pourquoi tu n'a pas mis la 930 ? Dans c'est plage de vent à FO tu es plutôt avec non ? C'est clair que ça a l'air très sport entre le cap et le vent arrière 😅
J’aurais dû j’aurais dû …! Si c’était que du travers ou du slalom la 730 allait bien. Mais pour tout ce cap et downwind il me fallait plus gros. Que ce soit voile planche ou aile :)
