Thanks for this great tour. I had the privilege of working for an organ company from Acton Ontario for 5 years way back in the 80’s and this tour brings back fond memories of my organ tuning days. Many many pipe organs today are in need of repair but because of the high labour cost many are being neglected. So sad. I hope this instrument gets the attention it needs to continue playing for years to come.

Excellent tour of the instrument and absolutely excellent demonstration of the sounds of the instrument. Probably the best tour and demonstration of a pipe organ that I have seen.

Certainly envy the instrument but not the lack of any sort of acoustic, a nice 5 to 8 second reverb wouldn't go amiss but we can't have everything.

Hello from north of Lake Superior! Peter and Neywash Streets were familiar to my Dad, Arthur Robert MCGINN. He lived on Peter St in the gable end house behind the 2 story corner house at that corner. He was born in 1900 so I guess the organ by Warren. Whether he was ever in St Andrew’s I don’t know. They were Methodist. The church tower can be seen in back yard photos from 1910 vintage! Thanks for the informative organ crawl! Very comprehensive!

Shelly, your commemoration of Queen Elizabeth as a Servant Queen and sister in Christ, along with your Prayers for her and King Charles, were very touching. And your Sermon brought timely challenges and assurances for this time of transition. Thank you. And my thanks to Marshall as well, for your fitting Prelude and Postlude.

Thanks for posting this splendid tour. Odd stop-jambs caught my eye quickly. That chestnut facade is priceless, owing to near-extinction of the species; glad to see that it is preserved. I had the privilege of playing a 1967 IV/75 Casavant at college, and assisting the technician with tuning and repairs. It is a Phelps organ, somewhat more lacking in warm tones, but powerful; the posaune and trompettes have great authority. Glad to see that ample space was provided for the organ. Most organs I tuned were no larger than your echo organ, and some seemed as if they were stuffed into closets. My bet is that the classic silver expression shoes are new. Y'all saved the best for last! WOW, what a demo!!

Thanks for this veryn interesting video & organ demonstration. Incrediable that most of the organ has lasted a 100yrs w/o any replacements. It shows the kind of & std of workmanship in those days.

Hello from Los Angeles. I have watched and rewatched this incredible tour herein presented by Marshall. It is a marvel - your incredibly beautiful Casavant Letourneau Organ and so beauitfully described/ explained and demonstrated. I long to come visit and hear in person the sounds / vibrations and magnificent message of this grand instrument. It breathes because of the mastery of Marshall Martin and my congratulations and admiration to St. Andrews Orillia for sharing this treasure with the world - through the making of a 'virtual tour'. Marvelous !!
