The song isnt Anti-Gun. Its more of a political commentary piece, as is most of their songs. They are highlighting how people are violent because its what they see as their chance to become famous. Because as much as it is horrible that these events happen, weirdly there are like Fandoms for shooters, I see this a lot with the shooters from columbine. Like Kim's song Superhero is about suicide, and theres just a lot of political/social commentary in their music.

Fun Fact: the dude that looks like a rocker from the 90's that gets hit is a look-alike for Sebastian Bach singer of Skid Row. Ronnie & him had beef cuz Ronnie had 2 cancel a couple of their shows due 2 missing laptops, then Sebastian went on saying they weren't a real band cuz they can't do a show w/o their laptops. People were defending Ronnie stating that most of the bands nowadays used them whether it's for back tracking, lights or really anything. Emily just so u know that not all metalheads are rude or cruel, they r just assholes as a person & would still b rude no matter what genre of music they listen 2. Most of us have respect 4 others.

I’m a super fan boy for The Weeknd 😭 This album is a vibe, all his songs are amazing. I saw him in Philly in 2022. Seeing, hearing, and singing with him was the best experience I ever had. After Hours is my favorite song, but I can listen to him all day. Hope to see more reactions!

Your autotune-example wasn't autotune but reverberation applied to the voice. Also a method to even out slight "vocal problems". But autotune (nromally) corrects the frequencies and, when overdone, adds a weird effect to the voice. Hence it's often appied in this way these days: kzread.info/dash/bejne/i2xr1aaMntWwe8o.html

Nope, they not quit school for this. They all completed high school while doing this project. They even sometimes had teachers with them when they were on tour back then... P.S.: They don't have done any anime opening/ending song yet. But they've done the opening for the cartoon show "Unikitty".

Nice reaction. Their history you will learn. You Will Learn. This is a song of hope. That tomorrow will be a better day no matter how bad today is. Not so much about the bombings. Babymetal seems to prefer happier subject matters. As most of their songs have a strong positive uplifting message to them. But if you want to check out their darkest song to date. And it turns out that the live performance has a rather cool intro. Rondo of Nightmare with the Kamiband intro is the way to go. Or you can go with something that has more chill vibe. Which is unusual for Babymetal. Brand New Day. A song which features the guitarist from Polythia. They finally performed this song together. It was on their 3rd album. Covid messed up everything. But tomorrow is a brand new day think of it and just smile. The foxhole is deep and full of surprises.

The girls all went to a regular school in addition to their activities with Sakura Gakuin and Babymetal, so they must have been very busy. When they were on tour, they always had one of their parents with them as chaperone, and probably a tutor as well. They were always expected to keep up with their school work, especially Moa, who's mom required her to keep her grades up to be allowed to keep being an idol. We know that Moa has also completed a university degree around her career in Babymetal. There has been some conjecture around the meaning of the song, but the idea that it's about the atomic bombing of Hiroshima seems to have come from the imagery in the visualizer video, rather than from Babymetal themselves. In an interview Su-metal expressed surprise that fans thought it was a sad song because she felt that it was "light" (her words), and when she sings it live, she sings it as a hopeful song. My own interpretation is that it's a song about hope and believing that if you just persevere through the hard times, a better tomorrow will come, rather than being in reference to particular event. I visited Hiroshima earlier this year while I was in Japan for Legend MM, and I went to the Peace Park and the Peace Memorial Museum. Other than the memorials to the bombing, it's a normal modern city. It's very nice actually because it's less busy than Tokyo or Osaka, and it has the best okonomiyaki.

You're sort of right about what happened with the lineup. Originally, there were three members, Su-metal, the lead vocalist, who is still there, Moametal, backing vocals and dance, who is also still there, and Yuimetal, backing vocals and dance, who retired from the group in 2018. From 2019, Momoko Okazaki performed with them as a support dancer, filling in Yuimetal's position in the dance formation. At Babymetal Begins in April 2023, Momoko was announced as the new member of the group and became Momometal. This performance was released just after Babymetal Begins, so Momometal had just officially joined the group and this was her first official appearance on video. As you may know, "The One" is the name given to Babymetal's fans. When Babymetal first started touring internationally, they noticed that many fans in the crowd were singing along and they were very touched that fans had learned the Japanese lyrics, so they wanted to reciprocate by singing a song in English for the international fans. This song is Babymetal's tribute to the fans, expressing their appreciation for their support. They don't play it live all that often, and when they do it always feels like a special occasion.

Many years ago around 2002 my brother ws getting married to his first wife and her BF was a trans woman. My brother wanted me to walk down the aisle with her and I refused. Now I wish I could go back and change that or even find her and apologize. I let my fear of what others would say effect my decision. No not all Metalheads are that way. I grew up on Sabbath was listening to Metallica in 1983 and Slayer too. However, I love all sorts of music Classic Rock, Pop, Rap, Hip Hop, Jazz, Fusion, Folk, Progressive Rock/Metal, Classical and Bluegrass. You could walk in my house and hear Iron Maiden, Culture Club. Ren, J Cole, Slipknot or Steely Dan.

Kim is from Tasmania so there is your answer for him doing them doing the whirlwind. I am not sure if you realize they have an album out it released last summer A Gradual Decline in Morale. If you have not heard it certainly worth a listen. This, Drown, Make Me Famous, Superhero and Land of the Sun are all on the album. It is a concept album so it all flows together and has a story.

However, before BABYMETAL began, in 2008, when she was ten years old, Su-metal (Suzuka Nakamoto) became the youngest member of the J-Pop trio Karen Girl's. They were formed to provide theme songs for the anime 'Zettai Karen Children', which was known in the USA as 'Psychic Squad'. The group disbanded in 2009 when the anime went off the air. In 2010 Su became one of the founding members of the school themed Idol group Sakura Gakuin. Later that year, BABYMETAL was created as one of the groups sub-units. It became an independent group in 2013 when Su graduated from Sakura Gakuin because of its growing popularity. Yui and Moa kept performing in both groups until their Sakura Gakuin grduation in 2015.

As you saw, Momometal making her first appearance on video as the newly revealed 3rd member of BABYMETAL. This is the unfinished version of 'The One' (just the first verse). This is the song written as a tribute to and dedicated to the fans (also named The One of course).

Beautiful performance. No, they have not done any anime - Su was in a group (Karen Girl's) in 2009 that sang the songs for the anime Zettai Karen Children. No they did not drop out of school - quite the opposite. They all attended regular schools while also working in the J-Pop Idol group Sakura Gakuin - BABYMETAL formed as a sub-unit of that group in 2010 and separated to become an independent band in 2013. One of their mothers (I can't remember if it was Yui or Moa - I suspect Moa's was more likely) told her that if her school grades dropped she would no longer be allowed to tour and perform with BABYMETAL. I have read that Moa continued on to university as well - juggling her further education with her career in BABYMETAL. This performance and video was filmed and released before the reveal of their new third member Momometal, so it was just Su and Moa plus the 3 backing singers in white (we can only guess at who they were). Su and Moa had been performing as a duo since the original third member Yuimetal left the band in October 2018 - the last time she performed as October 2017. I see you have also filmed 'The One unfinished version' also from The First Take ... that was released after Momometal was revealed as the new third member (the reveal was on 1st April 2023). Momoko had been supporting Su and Moa as a dancer since 2019 (along with two other dancers, but Momoko was the only one after about March 2020).

A little of history about this song: LOVEBITES were in hiatus for almost two years since August 2021 because of: first the COVID pandemia which cause the restriction of audience and then the complete cancelation of live shows and second their exbassist quiting the band for personal reasons. They almost decided to disbanded but they didn't and at April 2022 they decided to make an audition for a new bassist. The new bassist was selected: A 20 years old girl who has her own YT channel and with almost 700 thousand of followers (much more than the band official YT channel). "FAMI" is her artistic name (the name came from a chain of shops where she usually go shopping: "FAMILY MARKET") and she is an extraordinary bassist on her own (you have to watch her YT channel, specially her cover of "Alien, alien" with more than 11 millions watchers: kzread.info/dash/bejne/g5OJ09ytp7ynf7g.html ). So, in the begining of 2023, the band release her first CD with the new bassist and called it "Judgement Day" where the song from this MV is included. ASAMI (the vocalist) said at an interview that the song is about them fighting their inner "darkness" as sad feelings and frustrations for the past events (COVID, shows cancelations, exbassist quiting, etc.) with "lights" as hopes and determinations and also is a time where the band will be "judge" by their fans and audience for his new CD and the new bassist, so they will see the outcome of this "Judgement" and will go on in the path they have choose in the music world. ASAMI always yell to the audience at the end of their live shows: "We are LOVEBITES, and we play Heavy Metaaaaaaaaaaaaal!!!

This song and video came out in early 2023. This was the last video with their previous drummer Sae. It was also the first of four videos (so far) that tell a story arc featuring the male actor Kenji Kurosawa, who plays the bad boss. His story arc is continued in "Tousou (Runaway)," "Be the Gal: Early Summer Ver," and "Girls Talk," although he only has a cameo appearance on an ad flier in the Be the Gal video.

The new bassist was selected: A 20 years old girl who has her own YT channel and with almost 700 thousand of followers (much more than the band official YT channel). "FAMI" is her artistic name (the name came from a chain of shops where she usually go shopping: "FAMILY MARKET") and she is an extraordinary bassist on her own (you have to watch her YT channel, specially her cover of "Alien, alien" with more than 11 millions watchers: kzread.info/dash/bejne/g5OJ09ytp7ynf7g.html ). So, in the begining of 2023, the band release her first CD with the new bassist and called it "Judgement Day" where the song from this MV is included. ASAMI (the vocalist) said at an interview that the song is about them fighting their inner "darkness" as sad feelings and frustrations for the past events (COVID, shows cancelations, exbassist quiting, etc.) with "lights" as hopes and determinations and also is a time where the band will be "judge" by their fans and audience for his new CD and the new bassist, so they will see the outcome of this "Judgement" and will go on in the path they have choose in the music world. ASAMI always yell to the audience at the end of their live shows: "We are LOVEBITES, and we play Heavy Metaaaaaaaaaaaaal!!!

Are these re-uploads? This is the second reaction of yours I've seen today where you said that a song that is over a year old was their "latest." This came out in late 2022. Are you postng re-uploads and just forgetting to mention that they are re-uploads?

This song and video came out in early 2023. This was the last video with their previous drummer Sae. It was also the first of four videos (so far) that tell a story arc featuring the male actor Kenji Kurosawa, who plays the bad boss. His story arc is continued in "Tousou (Runaway)," "Be the Gal: Early Summer Ver," and "Girls Talk," although he only has a cameo appearance on an ad flier in the Be the Gal video.
