I actually was digging much, MUCH deeper - into the origins of the series, Dark Souls 1. In that game, chaos Zweihander was a staple of the most broken PvP build - Giant Dad. Combining Giant's armor, Mask of the Father, Chaos-infused Zweihander, and Grass Crest Shield, players had reached UNHOLY amounts of damage, poise, and stamina regen. That build was simply ABOMINABLE to fight against

The dlc weapons are still in a weird spot, there was one emergency patch for the ultra broken stuff but all the numbers don't match up with the old stuff. Wouldn't be surprised if a lot of dlc weapons just oneshot low lvl invaders... ER PvP has always been the ganker's wet dream

Invaders are usually between ten and twenty levels lower than that and if it was a level appropriate for the area, we're talking about starting class level. So he only even got to 700 HP by wearing a Radagon Soreseal and there's your answer to why he gets oneshot by a buffed dlc weapon (that is my guess) lol
