Really hope you see this. I have a 1966 Strat thats identical. No outer laquer that i can see. Yours looks the same. Did Fender not Laquer all of their bodies after color coat...thanks

Very beautiful guitar and playing I recently got my dads old gibson b15 in really nice shape. I swapped out the old strings polished the neck and put on some elixer medium electric strings and my what a tone and because of the mahogany body the sustain is just so crazy. Anyhow love the full body sound of the dove.

As a guitarist of 62+ years, I have to say that Mr. Joe is one spectacular singer/guitarist. I know he spent some time in Nashville and should have been put right to work; but I know people get homesick ... Glad he's doing these demos!!

Fantastic playing and tone. My L5 is in wine red and I can confirm that it produces all these sounds just by the flick of the selector. Unfortunately, my playing isn't up to the same standard. 😁

When I was young maybe 50 years ago I bought a used Vibroverb....it had one huge speaker. Friend asked to borrow it and later claimed it had been stolen........eventually he gave me a small Fender amp and an old Gibson Les Paul guitar....I had no idea that the amp was worth over 3 grand

Why do you only try the neck pickup? Yes, it is a masterbuilt, it is supposed to be the highest range from Fender, you should try the other pickups to see how they sound, I have heard Strats from the American vintage 1954 line that sound better than this one,

Back in the 80's I tried to buy a Gibson Byrdland. When it arrived I was so excited. When the tech tried to tune it the neck snapped completely from the body. It was sent back to Gibson where they refunded my money instead of replacing it.
