IMO, some villains are just misunderstood people who suffered so much and people out there in the world doesn't understand what they've been through and have no sympathy for them. So they show the world the pain they have endured their whole lives by making them suffer.

Everything that came out of the mouths of Ra’as Al Ghul, Bane and Zoe was absolute gold. I love the philosophy behind these kinds of villains and how sometimes, they are better than the heroes.

Why do you think certain characters are "evil"? Why do you believe Holywood's opinion of what is Evil? Most people cannot even define the word Evil... therefore how can they speak about it either morally or logically? Don't believe me? What is the true definition of the word Evil?

The one that always gets me is the speech from Killing Joke (not the godawful movie, the one that popped into my head when I read it) "all it takes is one bad day, to drive the sanest man alive to lunacy, just one bad day." Very observant, and accurate

Heroes and villains are alike; as a person stated. They both experienced a great pain from the world. But it is a manner how you handle that pain. The hero works to help others through or away the pain. So that they don't suffer like or as much as they did. The villain hurts others and aims to extend this pain so that others feel what they felt. Sometimes it is loud or silent. The thing is, villains are right but they are right because they believe they are right. They are right because they speak out against the pain they and others felt. But they are wrong to take that pain and deliver it onto others who have nothing nor quarrel to do with them. While the hero tries to stop them from hurting others and continuously hurting themselves. Their feelings are right but their desire to hurt the innocent is not.

In every man there exists a dog. The question is whether the dog is controllable or if the dog controls the man. The man is either better because the dog is controllable or the man is stupid because the dog controls the man. - "The Gentleman" from Netflix

FALSE. The reality and truth is that God is all good. The fact that we endure hardships is because man has free will and imposes his will on others. Man creates his own hardships. God allows this, and this is good. The things you might percieve as bad are neccessary hardship used to draw us out, mold us, strengthen and harden us as just as fire is used to extract iron from rock, then hardend iron to turn it to steel. We too are forged at the hand of God to become better renditions of our former selves. Some people are the fire some are the rock from which iron is drawn that later becomes the steel. Without God allowing hardships man would get bored, be stagnant, unproductive and would not progress. Life is a team sport and too many players attempt to be superstars because they seek attention and want to be gods themselves aka superstars. They seek praise, worship, and admiration. They wish to be dominant and impose their will on others. It is good that God allows this to happen. This is how man learns. He learns be seeing, hearing and experiencing. Doesn't history itself show us these mini gods fade and are soon forgotten? Even the records celebrating their lives fade away. Stone crumbles paper burns and words fall on deaf ears then get lost in the sands of time. Nothing man creates is permanent. As hard as man tries to kill God or deny him his own creation, God keeps resurfacing God is the only constant. He is born again and can and will resurface at will. This gift , he has offered to us. He seeks a relationship with each and every one of us. He wishes to share his kingdom and empower us to live in eternity. Read any religious texts, almost all have at least one central all powerful almighty diety one who defied death itself. The fact that a person can't see the reality doesn't make God any less powerful, it only means the person isn't ready for wisdom or understanding. God is all good all the time. Satan is here on earth sewing seeds of doubt. God will let those seesds sprout and mature only to cut them down at harvest and seperate the tares from the wheat. I imagine the tares will be tossed on the burn pile and the ashes will be used to fertilize the next crop. Either way, just because our minds are not fully developed and we have yet to know all things, see all things, be all things, and create all things does't make God any less powerful or even make him cease to exist. The more man and satan try to obscure God from mans sight the more man seeks to find answers then low and behold God always appears. Everything has a purpose, just because it hurts and we don't understand it doesn't make God bad. God allows "bad" so we learn to differenciate and we learn to wash off the bad before we enter the everlasting kingdom. Allowing bad doesn't make him bad, it makes him good for offering you the insight.

joker's quote is one of the things that are so wrong with society, and is unlikely to ever change if someone is acting bad, we rarely stop to think about what they might be or have gone through, that causes them to act that way. "we saw/heard you did something bad. dont bother explaining cuz 90% of people wont give a sht about why, just that you did it"
