An observation as to why the Fire Maple wasn't faster, is that the bottom of the non heat exchanger kettle was 15mm closer. If you had a stove was able to get the flame inside the exchanger, such as a small backpack stove, it might capture the heat better.

I had the tempest when it first came out and have still got it I have bought the trakker tempest 150 evo but I still use my original tempest for 24 hr sessions and it’s still in amazing condition for its age no tears or perforations I also have the front porch which actually turns it into a two man

I had the actor mk4i great little boat just got the bigger battery x2 it never missed a beat. I was so impressed I passed my old boat on to my friend as a gift. I now have the actor plus pro incredible value for money absolutely amazing piece of kit again never missed a beat I've got the bigger battery's for this boat time's 3 just so I can switch out when getting low.

using a screw type extractor like that one can cause a thin wall thing like your glow plug to expand and tighten even more, but glad it worked out, I'm trying to remove a broken glow plug tip from mine, looks more and more like removing the head will be the only way.

I cant create a player ? I click the + to add player fill in details , there is no ok button as such or means to complete & exit the screen . You can only press the plus again which just clears the input info or press the Russ Bray scorer icon in top left which just goes back to main menu without saving anything - its all rubbish..

No it didn’t. I just managed to get the extractor out had to drill the rest of the glow plug out.

What do you do when storing the boat away for a while? Disconnect the battery and charge when next used?

Ive replaced my glow plugs but for some strange reason im still getting the p0683 code and it smokes even more now. Its saying theres a pre heating fault. The vehicles a citroen realy but being diesel its still the same code as yours.

I have used that on my car and it’s amazing. A trim restorer works as advertised. A really good product that lasts a long time. A lot of other trim restorers only last a couple of weeks. This is not that. I could quite possibly see more than a year. I used a foam detailing brush doing my trim and i hardly used any product. You shouldn’t need to rub that hard using that applicator unless it’s better to use a foam one instead.

That’s the wrong cap wrap 💯. That’s a Brolly cap wrap. You need the 100T cap wrap.

I think that the fire ring on your test stove is much larger diameter than is typical for a camp stove. On other tests I have seen heat exchanger kettles boil in 2/3 the time. So it may make sense on a longer journey where you would carry more canisters of fuel.
