For torso swapping it will be a newer elite and a older elite can i just crack the bottom of the torso to swap them and if I need to fully crack them what glue do I use also to see how others make it can you make an elite jeans and black vest drew McIntyre

For Elites, you need to fully crack them. I only use Gorilla Glue Super Glue Gel. Make sure it's the gel or it can run on you.

Thanks for posting this. I've had very mixed results depending on how well they were glued together haha, but putting the arms like you showed is definitely the best way to get initial leverage without destroying the plastic. Another thing that one can do (this goes for taking anything apart) is to take a picture as you go so that you've got a reference point for reassembly.

That's how I did my very first leg swap but I found this method to be much easier and less chance of leaving plier marks on the figure.

I just put the legs that I’m swapping and boiling water and I use chopsticks from panda express to push the peg out & to make the hole a little bigger then I re enter the peg and it fits perfectly

The only issue on that figure (I made mine a UE as well) are the logos on the wristbands and he doesn’t have kneepads ig it depends on picky you art personally….im picky it’s a problem sometimes lol but nice looking figgy bro

I don’t take my figures apart much, but would you recommend putting the head sculpt into the water? I’m working on a Wolfpac Scott Hall, and I didn’t know if the paint would come off.

The newer Elite heads come off pretty easily but the older ones need hot water. They only need 60 seconds or so in the hot water and I've never had an issue with paint coming off.

For Elites I use a slotted screwdriver. An old one that's kinda dull works better. Less chance of marking the figure or cutting yourself. Width of the bit is about 1/4 inch or 6 mm.

Maybe crack the top half and then drop them back in the hot water for a minute. Might just be really good glue. The older figures seem to use a different glue or just more of it.

Using a hair dryer helps fit the seam better the plastic is warm and more flexible

Depends how it cracks. I usually add a tiny bit of glue regardless but I've cracked many that go right back together nice and tight.

I've never tried to tighten an arm but I've swapped lots of neck pegs after cracking a torso. Some that were broken and a few that were the wrong size for a custom. Just make sure you fit everything properly before adding any glue!

With each of these figures, I popped their arms off at the bicep swivel and plugged in new arms with the double-jointed elbows. This makes the wrist pegs compatible with all swappable hands. The only thing is the older pegs are fatter if I recall and you gotta trim them with cutters.
