The 80's were better. 👍🏼
If we only had the silver DeLorean to return to the 1980s.
F all stupid movie critics. I LOVE "Zoolander 2". It is just as funny as "Zoolander 1". And I LOVE "Thor 4: Love & Thunder", "Ant-man & the Wasp: Quantumania", & "The Marvels". I LOVE the palace of the gods in Thor 4: absolutely gorgeous scenery.
I am glad to hear other people don't care for movie critics.
just frog doing frog things
It looks like more fun than my research paper.
That's strange! All the thermostats over here do not have batteries. It needs control wires to send the signal back so they just have a few more wires to get power from it as well
Interesting! Don't you lose the settings if your power goes out though?
@@urbanlegendsandtrivia2023 they have little batteries in them that last decades. So the battery just remembers the settings, and the screen and main electronics run from the cables.
6:18am that early! Over here in the middle of winter we don't even get sunrise till after 7:30am
LOL! I usually wake up at about 4:00 a.m. to get in a couple of hours of graduate school before the two boxer dogs want to play. How is your winter? We are in the middle of a serious heat wave until Thursday here in Yorktown, Virginia. Sunrise was at 5:57 a.m. and sunset is at 8:26 p.m., and I guess that is because of our different latitudes.
@@urbanlegendsandtrivia2023 I just realised we both have a latitude of 37! It's just you are North I'm south. So we would have identical sunrise times just at opposite times of the year. We had a whole week that was the lowest temps we have had in over 20 years, so was very cold, but warmed up a bit now back to normal winter temps
I loved Gilligan's Island when I was a kid. Mr. Banks!💙
I think I have seen every episode over the years. Why did they take so much luggage if it was just a three-hour cruise though? LOL!
This word looks familiar...
LOL! There is a favorable chance of using this word for your KZread channel.
DOG SPOTTED
LOL!
In my head-cannon it's a prequel, & I like to imagine he's Gilligan's ancestor, and they have a genetic penchant for getting lost 😅
I love your theory!
I don't really think that too many people EVER thought that Gregg was older. Everything was Duane's doing. He recruited "bab-bro" (Baby Brother) Gregg to finish off the band as singer. Please don't think that I'm being rude...but...anyone who ever followed the band knows this.
Thank you for the information.
awe so precious 💗
Thank you.
Probably because snakes live in Virginia and your driveway was most likely warm from the sun
Yes, he was doing a little sunbathing before looking for a meal.
Because there are 30 some species of snakes in Virginia…
Thankfully, only 3 of the 32 species are venomous.
@@urbanlegendsandtrivia2023 I just looked up snakes in Virginia and was surprised by the diversity of them. I'm not a snake person but some of those species are quite beautiful. On the oher hand, my son loves snakes and would have tried to make your visitor his pet. We had a small Southern Pacific Rattlesnake visit our SoCal backyard a few weeks ago and he wanted to try out the venomous snake handing skills he learned from watching Steve Irwin (Crocodile Hunter). I had to say "no way."
Lived here at 1531B 2nd St. from 1983-1991. Went to Bethel Manor Elementary and the Tabb Intermediate. I remember so much of it. I watched the whole video and when you finally got to my address, you were only looking at the other side of the street lol. Was a great trip down memory lane
I am glad you enjoyed the video. I will see if I can find your home in one of my other videos I have not uploaded yet.
Maximum Overdrive.
I love movies from the 1980s. By the way, the machines will begin ruling humans in just a few more years.
Bill Russel not Wilt Chamberlain!!!!!!!!
Yes, thank you for the correction.
Napoleon dynamite! Such an accurate portrayal of rural Idaho that anyone who hasn't been here doesn't get it at all
Somehow I have still not seen that movie yet.
A movie the critics hate NOW, or a movie the critics hated when it was released? For any movie more than twenty years old, those are very different things. For example, my favorite movie the critics hated at the time of release? Star Wars. Yes, critics hated it when it was released. My favorite movie the critics hate now? Blazing Saddles. It flies in the face of all the modern woke movie critic loathes, and still manages to be both a great movie, AND have a positive social message.
Nice points! Being 61 years old, I remember seeing both those classic movies in the theater.
Hello John from Carrollton, Va. I’m a huge ABB fan and knew this story. I recently went to Macon to the Big House Museum to see their house from 1970-1973. Gregg Allman is the reason I bought a B3 organ.
Hello. My late father and I used to golf over there at Smithfield Downs. I miss those days. I was born in Marietta, Georgia, so I need to get down to that museum. I would like to go to that fateful intersection where two of the band members were killed as well. I play a little guitar. Keep jamming!
1510A 2nd Street from 89-98
That was a long stay in Virginia.
Looks like a really cosy home!
Yes, especially when the fireplace is running in the winter season.
Nice place!
Thank you.
I didn't know that! Thanks for the fun fact.
You are welcome. Let me know what you think of the movie.
It's been a while since I've seen you post! Glad to see you're still doing Urban Legends 😊
I am glad you enjoy the videos. Yes, it was 25 days since my last video. I have been busy with my graduate school course.
He met McCartney and harrison. McCartney was in the one love video
I had to go back and watch the video.
they lived in Nijemegen, however the brothers Van Halen were born in Amsterdam ....
Thank you for the clarification.
Dave’s dojo is in his home. Also he has never competed and has paid for his belt increases. Wonder how he would actually do in a one on one contest.
Yes, it would have been interesting if he had competed. He clearly has muscle, skills, and flexibility, so I think he would have been a decent competitor.
It’s off by too much
Could you post a sample calculation? Other people are saying they are getting close results.
That Van Halen story is much more modern left-wing politics than reality. Cultural Marxist bull crap. Diversity is every culture's biggest weakness. Mabey one kid called Alex or Ed a "chink " once or twice so what, kids are cruel. The story has no basis in facts of mass racism in the Netherlands at the time the Van Halen's left for the promise of California like everyone on the planet wanted to .
Absolutely, the story of Van Halen needs to be made into a movie! ✔️
Featuring Taylor Swift and David Hasselhoff in starring roles.
Did Eddie & Alex dad play clarinet on the track ' Big Bad Bill ' ?
From what I understand, their dad did play on that track. According to legend, he was really nervous and kept messing up, even though he was a seasoned musician. Finally, Eddie told him to relax and have fun, and he finished the song. Later, sadly, the dad lost a finger in an accident involving a trailer hitch and he stopped playing the clarinet.
@@urbanlegendsandtrivia2023Thank you for that information. I didn't know those facts about Jan Van Halen. You do know that Alex is coming out with a book soon called ' Brothers ' I'm definitely going to pre-order it. Van Halen the true American dream come true. I have much respect for the whole family. JC
@@user-my9nw1xj6t The book release is set for October 22, 2024. To be honest, Van Halen had gotten on my nerves over the years due to their silly high school feuds. However, I have newfound respect for them after learning all of these details.
Thanks for that insight into a tragic story.
You are welcome.
Damn those hate filled dutch people lol They were called mongrels and their "Feelings" were hurt lol
I had heard that it was because of the inter-racial marriage was why the Van Halens came to the U.S. So glad they did! I started playing guitar because of KISS, but it was VH that made me want to learn. As a young teen, I used to dream of Les Pauls, Strats, Marshalls, etc., but since Ed had built his own, I did it also in 1983...it's still my main guitar, after owning all of the "dream" guitars. I learned many of the early songs by putting the albums on one of those old record players the schools had; there was a 16 speed on them, so that's roughly half of 33 and a half, to slow down the fast playing. I got to see them on the Fair Warning tour at the New Haven Coliseum on July 16th, 1981 (sadly, while enroute to the show, we heard on the radio that Harry Chapin had lost his life that day on the L.I.E. in N.Y.). During the show, when Dave was by himself on the stage bragging about whatever, Ed was standing at his rack of stuff taking a break. I was as close as I could get to him at rhe railing abutting the stage, I yelled, "Edwaard Vaan Hayylen!!!" --he whirled around, gave me that signature grin, and whipped his lit cigarette at me. I was so honored! Miss you Eduardo, R.I.P.
Thank you for sharing that great story. I remember that sad day when Harry Chapin passed away, as Bob Marley had passed away about two months earlier.
I have heard the same thing.
Great American success story! We are sooo blessed and lucky to have Alex and Eddie Van halen in our country! They truly are an American dream!🇺🇸❤
Well said!
Ed is dead now.. A musical genius, but they treated any member of the band without their own last name like poopoo
@@cruiser6260 I know that Ed is dead! This story was about 2 brothers that came to the united states and became famous that is an american success story! And how he is rumored to have treated people, there is 2 sides to every story and some where in between is the truth! It was his band after all and he wanted things his way!
@@beverlysmith6539 my take away was the video is more about Jan van Halens moves, because so little is known about him unlike the history of the band. This was new information for me about him moving to avoid drafting in WW2 and encountering racism toward his Asian wife and Eurasian sons across the border and again in America. You were talking in the present so I thought you didn't know Eddie had died. Alex as well made the decisions which give them the reputation. Few other facts you might not know: Jan van Halen not only had his sons classically trained in music from a young age but believed in giving them alcohol and drugs at a young age, doing it with them. There was a lot of jealousy and problem between them and their singer David Lee Roth because of his being in the spotlight. When he left of his own accord and was replaced by Sammy Hagar in 1985, the band was even more success. When they sacked him in 1996 and replaced him they tanked. When they sacked their bass guitarist Michael Anthony who had been there from the beginning in the 70s and was the harmony singer, to replace him with Eddie's son Wolfgang Van Halen in 2007, again it fed their reputation and lost fans. Wolfgang says he stepped in to save his father from dying of drug abuse (he was only 16, and also blames the decision by his father on the drugs. It was also Alex decision, but he was more an alcoholic
Seen many of Van Halen Black Sabbath ACDC Rush Lynyrd Skynyrd and many more add the Hampton coliseum Good times
I try to tell people it was much better in the 1960s through 1990s.

Is that an official Cara Cara orange emoji?
I got a confession i hate grapefruit 😂 how dot hey taste more like oranges or more like grapefruit
Everyone's taste buds are a bit different, and although the flesh looks like grapefruit, to me they taste like sweet oranges.
