If you use silicon carbide, why don't you use the conventional 2-level converter with just 6 switches to converter 3-phase AC-DC? It is much simpler to control and requires much less devices.

My company is Daewoo electronic components in Korea. My company is a supplier of onboard charger for Hyundai motors. Could you introduce me Martin in Infineon or others who can develop the onboard charger using wide band gap semiconductor?

Who is that moron doing the inteview? He acts like a sleeze bag. He's got the slicked back greasy hair. The mafia gold ring on his finger. The horrendous tie with a cheap blazer and for god's sake he's wearing a shirt with french cuffs. My goodness, get this guy out of there.

Is it possible that you implement also a control mode for DC input? Because i think in the hardware layout there is no change necessary, only the control algorithm of the vienna rectifier should be adopted. Then it would be possible to connect your car direct to another battery (car2car charging or home battery to car) and also to a PV field. (Garage with no electricity grid connection etc.) By the way: Who needs a 30kW charger, when there only 22kW or 43 kW connection points?

That's awesome! What is the minimum temperature gradient required for its operation? What's its operating temperature range?
