Contrast paints don’t work well with large flat surfaces, they’re intended for models which have lots of details for them to pool in.

I have this idea to start my own second army, specifically a force of Nurgle-corrupted Blood Angels from the Dornian Heresy Thinking of using some Horus Heresy kits to kitbash my own take on Nurgle-corrupted Blood Angels, if anyone's got any suggestions on which kits I could use to kitbash my Dornian Heresy force, feel free to let me know

Hi love the work and amazing video ❤🔥 KitbashCarnage hear at the age of 31 iv recently got back into the warhammer/kitbashing community agen after taking 15year brake to pay bills and so on . I have taken the leap head on and started a youtube channel along with Instagram, Facebook and Tiktok. It's hard with my dyslexia and not being as young as the others as this algorithm thing is somthing to get used to along with editing and so on but my love and the flame for my lost passion has been reignited more then ever and dont plan on stopping soon . Along with having lots of content plans and already in the pipeline and also a Revamp to all social media with new header picture and profile picture from a digital contractor I sorced I hope to just gain more traction to the community iv came back to . Pretty frigidity fresh, if you take out the time cost this is actually cheaper than printing one. Quick off the top of my head estimate says it would cost a minimum of 10 pounds in Fdm if not more. And maybe a little cheaper in resin depending on how it's been hollowed/split and how it's been supported

i just got mine assembled into subassemblies. Worst instructions ever. Step 15 skips adding the guns to the chainsaw. It's just there in step 16. What really gets me, is the lamp in step 22. I have no clue where it goes and I can't find it in any stompa pictures. Can't even see it in on the finished versions of the stompa on the instructions. I still love it though.

This is giving me flashbacks to when I made an Ork Dreadnought from a camera film tube when I was 12. The Stompa definitely has a more unique character than the GW one. Also, you might find the Tamiya model handsaw useful for when a knife isn't cutting it

I'm making a solar Auxilia army who has custom lore and color scheme with them being called the Regal Sons of the Emperor for the loyalist side and having a gunmetal undercoat and reds picked out on the helms and shoulder pads and some chest pieces with gold adorning the vehicles

Glad to see some Legions content. I've been slow to get my stuff in a playable state, running a Necromunda campaign is taking all my hobby time. I've dipped my toe back in and am cleaning up my second set of Astartes infantry. It's gonna have to get painted before I can play a game though, so I can get them on the bases.

I've used a lot of imperial fist yellow and there are no problems with that. Your models are great but I think masking would be a good idea for the freehand work to get that straight edge. I'm just going to paint a dreadnought and I hate using the airbrush but I think it is the better option.

That's a great question! I actually went with friends who knew about it. My recommendation would be to ask at local hobby shop if there's anything coming up, or if there's whatsapp/facebook groups for the local community. Not sure whereabouts you are in the world but in London where I am there's always loads of stuff happening!

Great wee video, made the event look awesome. Working on my Ultramarines recently, really enjoying the various ways you can build an army list, at this scale it just looks epic! Really like your Blood Angels, the aerial assault detachment with 5 Thunderhawks looks class.

I love the fact that despite GW's issues with stock and not releasing all the units, that unsurprisingly those units still cropped up on the battlefields. 3D printing coming in, ftw!
