  I have a strong itch to get a GTV but at 78 my time is running short. I've done rotisserie restorations on three Jaguar XK-Es, had many Alfas, The GTV is, for me, a near perfect car.

  This is actually a repaint in the original Amazon Green.

  @@genauautowerks yes, Amazon was a replacement for Agave. But I believe Amazon was later replaced by Jade.

  Indeed! We do not have radios in either of our classic cars. A JBL Bluetooth speaker and your phone can provide the appropriate Italian music as you pull up to a meet.

  Congrats on owning an iconic car! For the driving portions we place the mic at the exhaust so we can here the note, but not get windnoise.

  ​@@genauautowerksAnother question. Those chrome bars you have installed between the rear bumpers, what are they for? I have them too, for the front also, but have no clue on what they are for, other than some extra protection. Is it a rally thing?

  @@NoobOnGuitar Yes, those are for extra protection for the rear end. i believe it was an addition for the American market. Not a rally thing.

  Beautiful!! 'Had 2 - '66 & '68. 'Loved them! (btw - the Dunlop K70 on the front is not a good choice. Probably contributes to that head-shake. K81, Conti. RB2, Avon Speedmaster - all better for front tire.)

  In 1994, I had an opportunity to buy a fully restored 1968 Bonneville for $1,800. I turned it down. I've been riding Harleys. I was afraid if when riding the Boone that I would forget which was the shifter and which was the brake and wind up killing myself.

  They are Western Pattern bars and were probably factory fitted. They are really comfortable bars, even if you don't like the look of them.

  Amazing how that 1980s truck survived & maintained in near mint condition after all these years. Whoever purchased this rare beauty should continue preserving this truck condition to the best of their ability. That truck is missing aright door side view mirror, but those are easy to replace. Other than that, this 1980s vintage truck maintained its good shape. Congrats to the previous owners in preserving this rare 1980s vintage! Again, to the new current owner of this truck, please take good care of it & continue to preserve that vintage truck as best as you can

  In 2002 MV revised the F4 with thinner valve stems and much more power. There is little else to tell other than the EV02 on the tail piece. So this bike may have been first registered on 02 but it is an earlier bike.
