This is so shamefully simple looking that there is absolutely no excuse for the oven at my place of work to look how it does- the carbon is a vital role with our oven it seems 😎😏

Thanks for that info. Was originally referring to the conveyor belt. Sorry I should have been more clear.

Great video. Do you have a recommendation on a type of degreaser for the chain?

Thank you for your feedback! To make sure we are talking about the same part, are you referring to the drive chain that drives the conveyor belt? If so, we don't have a recommendation in particular, but I know plenty of our customers use Ecolab, Diversey, Simple Green, among others. Be sure to choose a commercial degreasing solution designed for food service equipment. Make sure it's safe for use in a food environment. Here's one option: www.ecolab.com/offerings/kitchen-maintenance/greasecutter-plus Safety First: Ensure your oven is turned off and disconnected from the power source to avoid any accidents during cleaning. Preparation: Place a drip tray or absorbent material underneath the chain to catch any dripping solution and debris. Dilution: If the degreasing solution requires dilution, follow the manufacturer's instructions to create the appropriate solution strength. Application: Apply the degreasing solution to the drive chain, focusing on the areas with the most grease buildup. You can do this by dipping a brush into the solution and scrubbing the chain or by using a spray bottle to evenly coat the chain. Scrubbing: Use stiff-bristle brushes or scrubbing pads to scrub the chain, paying special attention to areas with stubborn grease. Scrub in a back-and-forth motion along the length of the chain. This will help loosen and remove the grease. Rinsing: Once the chain is scrubbed, use clean water to rinse off the degreasing solution and loosened grease. You can use a damp cloth or sponge to wipe down the chain and remove any remaining residue. Drying: Allow the chain to air dry, or use a lint-free cloth to pat it dry. Lubrication: After the chain is dry, apply a food-grade chain lubricant to ensure smooth operation. Follow the manufacturer's guidelines for lubricant application. Used in our video: www.ambersil.com/ambersil/AMBproductdetail.csp?product=AMB%20CHAIN%20LUBE%20FG Inspection: Before turning your EDGE conveyor oven back on, inspect the chain for any missed spots or remaining grease. Repeat the cleaning process if necessary. Dispose of Waste: Dispose of used degreasing solution and cleaning materials according to local regulations. Many degreasing solutions should not be poured down the drain.
