My husband and I will be traveling up there Friday anniversary in September and I cannot wait until the reservations are open that far down the line for the admirals steakhouse it seems that they are not open for reservation but a few weeks at a time. So if you can arrive there one day that they're open and give us a close up of the buffet and the setup scenery I would truly love that.

Looks like a cool place. I remember going to a place in Williamsburg for a friend's birthday that was set up like a Tavern where they put on a show and the Tavern wenches would sit on the men's laps and they acted like they were in the 1600's or 1700's. It was lits of fun but I can't remember the name. It was in the 90s. Something like Rosie's something?

We never win big, but its a fun place to play.
I go to the one in Hampton quite a bit. Usually on Tuesdays for the half price fish and chips. That is probably the only thing I've had there every time. I like the beer sampler too. You get 4 4 oz beers of your choice. That way you are not committed to drinking a whole pint you don't c😮are for. That fish and chips has shrunk over the yrs. I used to be impressed with it because it did cover the whole plate or more. Not now which is why I only go on Tues for the half price one.

I got a Question my boy. So ive been to this casino in the past but didnt know about HHR machines until this week. I now realize that the reason Ive been loosing when I go to places like Rosies is because they dont have any real slot machines, just HHR machines that play and are programed way different from a true slot machine, which this whole time ive been approaching these casinos as if I were playing slots which Im not. My question is, did you happen to know if all the machines in Rivers Portsmouth are HHR machines like they are at Rosies? Or are there true slot machines at Rivers?
So they were hhr pre casinos being legal. Now that casinos are legal. The new casinos are now RNG. Cant speak on if rosies converted or not.
@TrippinAintEasyVa oh so the new casinos like Rivers are RNG slot machines? That's good news, won't have to drive to Maryland for real slot machines then. And nah Rosie's is still all HHR that's why instead of casino they're called gaming emporium.

I used to like Catch 31. Haven’t been in a while. We went to Quemar and it was really good. The lobster definitely didn’t look done.
Nobody should go to this Casino in Portsmouth, VA . Portsmouth is a very dangerous city , and where the Casino is , it’s horrible. I live in Portsmouth and never drive near that area.

@@TrippinAintEasyVapeople who say Portsmouth is a very dangerous city have never been outside of Virginia. Portsmouth is no where near as bad as people make it out to be. I moved out here from Southern California and cannot wrap my head around what's so bad about Portsmouth that people claim. It may not be a nice suburban Falls Church, but it's no San Bernardino either.

This place was ok at best when it opened NOW it’s HORRIBLE. Security and police isn’t around and ofc the you know who’s are stealing peoples tickets and running off. Breaking into cars in the parking lot. It takes 30 minutes to get the wrong drink for 17 dollars, it’s completely overfilled at all times. And the lowest bets at tables is outrageous now. Looking at 20 dollars min for blackjack. And the players card rewards are TRASH.

It's traditionally made with beef, but can be made with fish (specifically salmon or tuna), veal, or venison. i had it with salmon before it was good., I dont know if you would eat raw beef lol but in south korea and japan they eat that all the time raw beef but put egg yolk on top and mix also i been to hong kong and i had their hong kong style french toast with condense milk but i never seen hong kong french toast served with chicken lol

Stay away from this place!!! If you don’t eat shellfish or pork it’s not worth it!!! I ate there counting on the other items since I don’t eat shellfish or pork but the food was subpar. I wanted to cry because my family of 6 spent over $300 ($59/each for holiday pricing) and the food was not good considering it’s a high end buffet.
