  Question: Why do top alcohol cars run one magneto setup while top fuel run 2 mags?

  Top fuel cars run twin mags because each cylinder has two spark plugs. This is needed in order to burn the incredible amount of fuel being pumped into the cylinders, which far surpasses the amount used in a top alcohol car.

  Agree with the non smoker statement! If no one is puffin on one hanging out their mouth next to an alcohol car something’s wrong. See I don’t smoke so I would only be allowed to maybe race it. That is all.
