    well done Eamon and the Frazetta team. You made the right choice going for aesthetic over articulation. This is by far the best sculpted female action figure in 6 or 7 inch scale that has ever been produced (and not simply because she is scantily clad) the proportions and sculpt look great and true to the source material.

    Ordered my teegra because of this video. Great job on this vid and dark wolf. Always great to see a review by the ppl who made the figure. Especially when they can provide information about how the articulation should or should not be. Excited for teegra release sd con announcement and eventually increased poa's in figures. This teegra looks like a statue great work. So far every figure released by frazetta girls has been phenomenal.

    Well done guys such a beautiful figure! For me less is more on the torso cuts, I'm just not a fan of them but otherwise the arms and legs look so well sized and seamless here. On her rear there is just a little too much gapping but that's me being picky. Looking forward to your other stuff.

    The engineering for the shoulder rotation and the hip to pelvis is really well done. The team put a lot of thought into it for certain and obviously shows that love for the Frazetta franchise. And while I would have loved more cuts for foot and waist articulation by not doing that it looks more like the drawn art and that's a sacrifice that's worth it. Super nice work y'all.

    I get that you wanna prioritize sculpt over articulation and EVENTUALLY you wanna add more articulation which is nice to hear. And while I don't mind single joints and a more limited articulation scheme (I got this on pre order after all), having joints that add more movement while keeping the sculpt and look of the figure IS possible, so long as that basic silhouette of the human form is still presented, cause if you're gonna prioritize sculpt just make statues, action figures are always gonna have cuts and breaks so just embrace it. I'm not asking for Amazing Yanaguchi levels of retarded articulation but something like Mafex or Storm Collectibles is good enough for me.

  • @Eamonod
    @Eamonod21 күн бұрын

    Well physics and budget is still a thing. Not everyone 'plays' with figures like you do and your statue comparison doesn't fly here. These are art figures and looks are everything. This is a FrazettaGirls figure and this is how we role. ;)

    Loking forward to my Teegra. The articulation is on par for what is expected, given it's a trade between sculpt and flexibility. To me she seems similar to what a Cosmic Legion figure, which is adequate for display. It could be worse, but they struck a good balance. She does indeed have some very nice "features" .... which is the reason I pre-ordered her ie: beautiful curves.

  • @Mr767267

    Love the effort. I really feel those joints look outdated, I am just trying to say make it more cooler. Keep double joints as standard at arms and legs, give ball joints at neck, wrist and ankles. You had a good design for hair as separate piece, it could have used soft plastic to make it head articulation good. Good hear that you'll be doing articulated animals at 1:12 scale, that a quite niche area.

  • @Eamonod
    @Eamonod21 күн бұрын

    Much to disagree with there. We love knees, most out there love her knees. These are art figures. Looks are everything and double joints on a naked slim figure are ugly.

    nice figure and love the skin tones; but for the love of all that is holy stop using gloss paint for hair!!! i get its likely a cost issue but matt with a drybrush highlight looks significantly better that a glossy black on the top of what is essentially a superbly well painted figure with no garish shiny bits and gloss sections etc.

  • @Eamonod
    @Eamonod21 күн бұрын

    We had it mat then went shiny as her hair is silky smooth and it’s a nice contrast with all the matt. :)

    Wow really impressed by the sculpt, the paint job and the way you managed to hide the joints and keep the aesthetic clean. I also really appreciate the fact she scales well with Mezco. I hear you on the articulation vs sculpt, and I have to say I'm impressed. I mean not to put too fine a point on it, but I didn't think you could pull off a butt like that in a poseable fig, lol. I also think this is your first go at a female in this line, and she's a great template to innovate from. Can't wait to see where you develop as you go.(I think you could afford to open the joint up at the back of the knee for deeper kneeling poses, as it's less visible and won't impact the sculpt as much as the front, but I agree on avoiding a double knee. Also, if you want to do a mid-way articulated cat, simple ball joints in the shoulders is usually enough to pull off a bunch of poses, but don't require other more complicated joints to achieve you usual cat poses of laying down, swiping, and raising up to strike, and you can sculpt around them. But I can't wait to see your take on some full articulation Frazetta cats.) Really excited by this line, and having seen her in action I'm sold.

    13:11 This is what western companies need to practice on immediately. The problem with current action figure butts is that they're a back piece that hinders leg articulation pulled towards the back. And they don't look great neither
