I have to admit that, even though I love Super Sentai, the Power Rangers equivalents have cooler transformation effects a lot of times, though that's kind of to be expected since they get the benefit of having superior tech and more time with how long it takes before they license the Sentai and get their hands on the costumes and original footage.

Here is my problem with Magired’s introduction, everyone is bringing up how scared he is of dying and it shows he needs to grow and sure that works to a extent however with Nick’s introduction he has willing to destroy his bike something he loves to save people he knew while also willing to fight a fully armored dude with magic. The biggest difference between the two for me is one had their siblings on the line while the other was saving a group of people he barely knew because it was the right thing to do. One was just being a good family member while the other was actually being a hero.

Seems that phones that can be turned into calligraphy brushes were stupid for PR. Heck, they did that too to Antonio by not turning his flip phone into sushi. A clear reminder that Power Rangers Samurai had zero educational value to learn actual Japanese culture.

Super Mega Mode should have never been a new form. It should have just been a new set of powers. Maybe have them lose the Megaforce powers at the end of the first half of the series, and give them the new powers at the beginning of the second half. It could have worked really easily.

i think mystic force acrually made a much better morphing sequence. it’s much more dynamic and fast paced. and it made good use of that beginning clip that the sentai footage has of them shooting lightning to the sky. in magiranger their morph had nothing to do with the sky after that. i say the only thing magiranger did better was giving us a better glimpse of the magical spirit of each ranger. that’s the only downside of mystic force it was too fast that you could barely see it
